Waterborn's previous blog post got me motivated today. My dad had given me an old Coleman stove years ago. I had never done anything with it except to clean out the mouse nest that had accumulated in it. After watching Waterborn's post, I decided to see if I could get this old stove working. After a little oil, it seems to hold pressure. I will have to pick up some fuel and test it out.

Haven't tied in years.  Got my stuff out recently and have been hard at it.  Not very good but I have fun.

My Casio G-Shock finally died today after being my friend for close to 12 years.  I am at a loss.  Not sure what to say.  I am lost without a watch.  I have found myself staring at the white strip on my arm all morning.  I just found the information on the web on where to send it for possible repair.  It is going to take a couple of weeks.  Not sure what I am going to do without it.

The boys have been driving me nuts to take them fishing. Life has just been busy. A friend of mine just bought some land on the river so we decided to visit tonight. Boys caught several 15-18" smallmouth. I didn't get any pictures because I didn't trust myself with my phone wading in the river. Then my buddy decided to take them four wheeling in his new side by side. Here he is with his little boy and my two bigger ones.

The boys have been driving me nuts to take them fishing. Life has just been busy. A friend of mine just bought some land on the river so we decided to visit tonight. My 7 year old son plays on a travel baseball team.  One of the other dads and I became pretty good friends.  Last Thursday, he went in for gastric bypass surgery.  He just passed away today. He and his wife had adopted two little boys.  7 and 4.  Scary crap.  My doctor has been on me for two years to do the same thing.  Since discovering diabetes a month ago, I have lost 31 pounds.  I think I will keep doing what I am doing.  Keep his wife and kids in your prayers.

At a teacher inservice this morning, a buddy of mine leans over and shows me a new app he downloaded. If you are a zombie fan (and even if you aren't), check out Zombie Booth. It is free. Basically it takes a picture from your phone and turns that person into a zombie. Touch the zombies mouth and it eats your finger. So if you are like me and need to kill a few minutes, check it out.
