Carpet is installed, walls painted, doors hung (except one), lights lit.   All that remains is finish trim work and the dreaded ‘moving of the pool table’, shopping for the proper bar set up, and a “small” TV….I’m thinking 40” LCD….unless they make a swiveling, telescoping mount for larger TVs….. I will post pictures once we wrap up a few more points.

seriously, I just recieved a death threat over xbl because I made my team lose....yes it was reported, and the little shit (who happened to sound like he was in his 40s...but I'll still call him a little shit) has been blocked from messaging me.....so how did I make us lose? I came in mid match, got killed twice and our team was behind by 3,000 points before the other team hit us with a nuke......so obviously my 2 deaths caused it..... even though I was not killed by the guy with the nuke.

but so far, my matches have gone like this.....

We ordered carpet for our basement. Friggin’ expensive carpet, I mean it REALLY overshot my anticipated expense by about $1,000. But it’s getting done. So with any luck, in 3 weeks I’ll have furnished basement pictures to share and can start working on the Secret Man Cave.

9 gallons of paint and we’re still not finished. We still have to put the final coat on 2 rooms, but after that we are finished painting the basement. I was skeptical over spending $33 per gallon for the good Behr Premium Plus Ultra Paint + primer but holy crap, that stuff works! Thick covering, and I love the rich colors…..but one thing we learned, it does not stick to ceiling primer, just some light painters tape was enough to peel a large section of it off the wall (but only where it was covering the off brand primer)….but holy crap it’s expensive!!!
