Look quickly before I get pushed off the front page over at Twin Galaxies - www.twingalaxies.com/ I am currently ranked 18th in the world on Robotron in Marathon Mode. I am also currently 17th in Tourmament Mode (5 lives, no extra men). Not bad for just about a month of practice. As you have probably figured out by now, I am rather addicted to the quest for a World Record.

So, as some of you may have noticed, I have not been around much lately. I have been working very hard to coordinate a very special 2old2play sponsored event to be held here in Boston on the Wednesday before PAX comes to the East Coast on March. Things are looking pretty good and I hope to be able to make a formal announcement very soon. I am very excited about this event and think that it will not only help to establish 2old2play as a leader among online gaming communities, but it will be a night to remember.

Recently, I sent an email to the official website of Henry Rollins (21361.com/) to inquire about the validity of a twitter account that I came across with his name on it. A few days later, I received a short response from Hank himself letting me know that the account in question was in fact not him, nor was it directly affiliated with his work in any way. Receiving such a response might seem highly unlikely to most. However, this was not the first time that I have received correspondence from Henry Rollins.

I worked all day in the rain yesterday and apparently it got the best of me. Luckily, I was not scheduled to work today, so I have spent most of my time in bed trying to get some rest. I have a ton of content that I need to get formatted and posted, including several interviews and some video footage of the Boston Derby Dames Roller Derby Match from last week. Unfortunately, this is going to have to wait until tomorrow.

Quick post today, just wanted to let everyone know that I am now officially on the Robotron Leader Boards over at Twin Galaxies, currently ranked 19th. With a little more practice, I plan to increase that ranking soon.

My Robotron scores are creeping up every day now. This one puts me among the top 6 scores that have been recorded since 1984 for Marathon Mode (see my previous blogs for an explanation of the potential issues surrounding scores posted prior to 1985).  Next goal = 10 million points. It should take me about 2 1/2 hours to get a score that high one a single game. Need to stock up on Red Bull I guess.
