What year were you born? Obvious Question for an older gamer site right?
That's too bad knight, try verifying your cache integrity for each add on. I did that last night and found a few files were missing. The game fires up very quickly and from any addon where as before it just did it from random packs. The mod is a stand alone so to save on dl you just need race 07 and stcc addon to run it.
I simply can't get enough of the mod, and quickly becoming one of my top mods! I started a championship yesterday and have already done 6 15 lap races. The cars feel different than most fwd mods kinda reminds me a bit of the rf2 honda....a bit of understeer, can easily go sideways but easy to drift while torque steering.
simply a blast to drive, I hope to see a series start up some where so I can join. I also hope Andreas looks into bringing this to a next gen sim
Yeah it sounds nice, and I do like R07 we had some fun races using it. It's just such a pain to debug and eats my data everytime steam try again, so have just given up trying to get it to work, I fully expected it to just fire up...Ah well I'll keep at it.
I came across this mod by by simracing pro. It use the stcc 2010 add on by simbin and is called stcc 2011 physics revisited. I've yet to try it but will give it a go soon. This or the updated super tourer 98 could make for an excellent series I've seen the super tourer mod being run by a few leagues and haven't seen any major issues.
