I bought two additional Armentariums for my Titan. Rolled them with glass needles to get Void and Arc shielding. Now I don't have to give up the extra grenade if a different element is in play.
The auto rifle nerf comments were confusing. They mentioned the Arminius-D but then only stated Doctrine of Passing in the nerf percentage?
The high rate-of-fire autos like Doctrine, Arminius and Soulstealers are getting the 6% nerf. That's the deal DEEP.
I think the subclass changes are interesting, seems to be a lot of focus on making supers more useful in PvE. Hunters are really getting an overhaul with lots of tweaks. I'm concerned what Bladedancer will be like in Crucible since it sounds like it will be pretty strong.
I do like the change to Viking Funeral for Sunsinger - a damage buff (from all sources) that can stack 3 times at 5% each - yes please! This helps give Sunsinger more support options, which I will enjoy.
We can now run the Black Spindle mission any time we want, so no more waiting for it to be the daily. The alternate ending to "Lost to Light" can be completed at any time by selecting the Heroic version of the mission from the Director. Same for the alternate ending to "Paradox".
We get three new Chroma colors: Orange, Magenta and Green
Point deduction for CoE when Variks grows impatient = 50 points x the # of times the message has been displayed.
Given that they cancelled IB for the same reason they cancelled Trials for the weekend (and it didn't come back), I think it's unlikely - but let's hope so.
2.3 removed the damage over time (DoT) for the Warlock Sunsinger's Viking Funeral perk. The unexpected consequence of 2.3 was that fire (being lit up) gave the Warlock's opponent an overshield, who took far less damage for some seconds - the exact opposite of what was supposed to happen. This problem appears in both PvE and PvP. That made the opposition nearly unkillable.
I saw a video of the effect. No wonder I had such a hard time in the crucible recently. I switched back to my Titan.
The given reason for the cancellations of Trials and IB was that some people were having trouble joining matches. I tend to believe it's more likely due to the kind of stuff Minotaur mentions.
They ought to just roll back the update and bring it back once it's actually ready for use. Also maybe give some thought to how they test this stuff before it's deployed...
I've seen video too of the stuff Minotaur mentioned, pretty big goof on Bungie's part. I could understand if this was Year 1 and they were still figuring stuff out, but this is really bad for it to be screwing things up this bad at this point in the game's lifecycle.
This week might be the one to try for 45,000 in Challenge of Elders. It'd be nice to complete the weekly in two runs.
You are correct DEEP. This week's CoE is MUCH better than last week's. I ran it with Kal and SC and we were casually scoring 40 - 41k, I'm sure if we put on our tryhard pants we could have done 45k. Overall though, running it three times was still better than running last week's CoE even once.

Anybody available to run CoE with me tonight, around 9:30 eastern?

We definitely could. We were running through it last night and I think we hit over 45 at least once. I don't think I shot a gun with the Warlock during one session unless it was at a boss or at a wizard (had to show the wizards what an Ashraven is like). Scatter grenades for everybody! Certainly makes up for last week's trickle.
Bungie tweet: .@M8J8W We need to fix an issue with Iron Banner before it can return. At this point, we don't plan to start it mid-week for a short run.
I kept three Year one Prison of Elders helmets for my Warlock. One of them has the attribute: "Greatly increased Recovery and Super recharge when fighting Cabal in the PoE. Equip prior to each round." I have a helmet for Vex and Fallen that provide for the recovery boost as well.
Turns out, they work great in CoE (and PoE) for year Two. Wearing one of these helmets with all 335 gear otherwise will drop your light down to 318. I can only see a benefit from the Year One helmet. Supers and recovery are noticeably faster, and the message "Recovery Boost" appears on the left side of the screen while engaged in the fight.
The Cabal helmet I have works just as well when fighting the Taken Cabal.
The Year One PoE Warlock helmets were named: KellBreaker's Mind.
The Year Two PoE Warlock helmets are named: Keeper's Mind. None of my Y2 helmets mention PoE in their attributes, even though that's where I got them.
I'll have to experiment with the Year One PoE chest pieces I kept for my Warlock. They too offer a benefit while fighting in either the PoE or CoE, but taking my light down to around 300 might be too much... I don't know.
Recently we went into the raid with 5 and made it to the totems. This video shows how to successfully run totems with only two people per side.
Basically it works how I suspected where you transfer the brand mid-ways between the pick-up point and the totem. The person in the middle comes back almost immediately after draining the Deathsinger Power and the person on the totem comes off at about 5 seconds on the countdown. The two players meet and the brand is transferred.

Krak and I tried this once when we were stuck at 5 at the totems, waiting for the 6th to come in. I think we got up to about 3 passes. We determined it was doable, but had just about 0 margin of error.
PS - Again, I'll switch to Destiny if I'm on, so consider that next time you're stuck with 5 at the totem.
Didn't they think us XBOners as important as PS4ers? Talk about misplaced priorities.

Bungie announced their June updates today that affect both guns and classes. The Doctrine got a 6% nerf. Don't agree with most of the changes.....

Just read through the official patch notes.

Iron Banner has been cancelled for this week due to issues that affected Trials last week.
Saw that. Thanks Bungie.
Most recent Twitter announcement says its been "grounded for now"
https://twitter.com/Bungie/status/745298019239657474
Recommend continued monitoring: last month it was also canceled and then it was activated on a Wednesday.
Canceled IB because of bugs... Maybe because....

And congrats on the 335 Deep.
I think Bungie hired some peeps from 343.
No more 334. I am an official member of the 335 club.
Last night I picked up a Soulstealer's Claw automatic rifle. It came with Perfect Balance and Persistence.
I'll definitely be tooling around with it today. Maybe my Arminius-D has some competition.

Iron Banner is back this week!
Inquiring minds want to know.

Wow. Cool!
Hard to get into IB this time since Destiny seems to be down for maintenance during the times I am available to play. Arghhhhhhhhhhh!!
When I can get on during the evening, everyone seems to be teamed up.
Hopefully today's update will fix some of the lag, kick outs and contacting destiny server errors we have been suffering through.
