Generation Kill debuted on HBO last night.  I've not watched the entire episode yet, but what I have seen so far...  wow.  I don't think I've seen a show involving or depicting Marines that has resonated with me so much.  Ever.

Full Metal Jacket had its moments, but depicted a different time and different attitudes.

My dog is a living alarm clock. 5:30am every morning, almost spot on. And yes, on the weekends to. Except yesterday, she decideds that 5am is a better time. It's hard for me to go back to sleep after waking up, so I snoozed on the couch off and on all Sunday morning. Sucked.

To my neighbor who I saw pooping in his yard yesterday - w4m

I saw you couched down with your pants around your ankles. I asked "Hey, what are you doing?". Your reply was "Pooping in a groundhog hole! I read about it online. It's suppose to trick the groundhog into thinking another animal has moved into it's lair.".

Since you are normally a sane person I refrained from calling the police.

So I felt like shit yesterday and decided to take a sick day.  I pretty much slept all morning, and then I put Bully into my 360 to give it a whirl before I sent it back to Gamefly.

Overall, it's an ok game, but it really didn't resonate with me.  I felt like I had to grind a lot just to get certain achievements and I hate grinding.  I'll be playing it once more for a few more achievements, and then send it back to Gamefly, never to play it again.
