A Case of the Mondays?

Fuck yes, and then some.

My dog is a living alarm clock. 5:30am every morning, almost spot on. And yes, on the weekends to. Except yesterday, she decideds that 5am is a better time. It's hard for me to go back to sleep after waking up, so I snoozed on the couch off and on all Sunday morning. Sucked.

Fast forward to last night. I'm tired. Decide to hit the bed around 10pm. Except, my neck and back are killing me. So much so that I can't get comfortable. I move around in bed 4-5 times trying to find the position that'll let me relax when, my cat decides that I'm taunting him and lunges up from the floor and chomps down on my leg. Not the first time this has happened, and the last time it did, he got personally introduced to the wall via my foot. This time, he was ready and tore ass away before I could even finish screaming my profanities at him. Fucking punk.

So, since I can't get comfortable in bed, and I'd rather not invite anymore guerilla attacks by my cat, I move to my couch. Although it's helping, I still can't get relaxed, so I go and take a muscle relaxor to help with the tightness in my back and neck.

Right about when I'm about to fall asleep, the dog barks. Nope, not 5:30am. About 1am. I yell at her to SHUT THE FUCK UP! She does.

I start to fall asleep again... BARK! WTF?

And so it goes, through out the entire night. The mother $#@!ing dog barks 2-3 times an hour until my alarm goes off at 6am.

And then I notice that the cat bit me hard enough that I bled on the sheets. New sheets at that. Fucking Punk.

So, I look like someone has punched me in both eyes this morning. I'm running on a Starbuck's Doubleshot Espresso Energy drink, and I'm not sure I'll make it past noon today.

Case of the Mondays?

Yeah, and then some.

What could have been bothering your dog for him to bark like that? If my dog barks at 1am I know someone is breaking in. He just usually taps my arm with his paw to let him out of the house. Never barks.

Honestly, I have no clue as to why she was barking. Got up this morning, and let her out, she went the bathroom, came back in, ate a little and wen to bed. Nobody breaking in. Alarm was on in the house. She sleeps in her crate, so she may have had some anxiety or some shit. I've got no idea.

Possible animal outside? that's what my dogs do. It's amazing what they can hear.

Man I feel your pain on the dog alarm. Why is it crap like that always happens on Sunday nights? Murphy. I hate her and that stupid law of hers.

Oh man that sucks, hang in there and maybe you can nap when you get home. My little dog sleeps in a cage as well but it and my bedroom are on opposite sides of the house.

My cats are banned from the bedroom. They don't bite, but they like to walk on my head. Hope the rest of your week improves. PS - Ever try a body pillow? I have a shitty back and that helps take the pressure off it.

My dog knows she gets in trouble if she barks during 'bedtime'. So she stands at the side of the bed, ass closest to my head and waps her tail on the side of the bed like it's a drum. So i just hear pound pound pound pound. Or she'll nudge the bed. She'll walk up and down the sides of it forcing her body into it so it shakes.
