I leave everyone, today, with this thought

As I struggle to cope with these events of the past few months, I know there is a silver lining to my gray cloud of doom. I know I have a family here at 2o2p that cares about me and will be there if any needs arise. I quote Mike James, when we were at the LAN "If you ever need anything, anything at all, don't hesitate to ask." He went on to say "Your family, and we take care of family." Thanks Mike James and thank you 2old2play for giving me a place to vent, express myself and a place where I feel welcome. Until tomorrow, game on.

Now I have to get something off my chest

Being the first time I have ever blogged twice in the same day, this is new territory for me. I know a lot of you have put up with some of my crap and nonsense, but recent events have put in to persepctive the year I am having and struggle it has been. Also, how much of a burden has been put upon my family and the weaknees I am now feeling from all of it. I feel like an ancient wall from years gone by, that has slowly started to crumble under the pressure of the outside world.

Sadness, yet Rejoicing...

For the second time in the last 2 months, my family has had to endure another passing away of a close family member. My Grandfather (mom's dad) James Davis, passed away yesterday at the age of 95. It was somewhat expected, but nevertheless, hard to take. I am very close with my family, both sides. As a child, we never qent on the "family" vacations to theme parks or the beach. My parents had 2 weeks of vacation a year, we spent one of those weeks in Springfield, MO. for Thanksgiving, with my dad's parents. The other week we spent in San Angelo, TX. for Christmas, with my mom's parents.

Homecoming

Well, everything was going well yesterday 7/4/06 until about 5:30 or so. My parents were at my house and we were enjoying some KFC and their company. That is when we get a phone call from my Aunt Becky (Dads sister) letting us know that my Unlce Terry, a veteran of the Vietnam War, a good man, and a wonderful uncle had gone home to e with the Lord at the ypung age of 58. He had cancer, but I just cant remeber where it started. All tests concluded it was a result of the Agent Orange that was sprayed back during the war in Vietnam. The fortunate thing is that the U.S.

Nothing Jolly at the LAN...

Thats right, it looks like my LAN attendance has been dealt a tremendous blow (to quote fight chat). Most of you know the story of my life the last 4 months, so I will be rather brief. I was one of the first people to buy my ticket to this years Chicago LAN back in January. After the birth of our third child, everything still looked good-to-go. I had even agreed to dress up as a french maid, and Smoke was going to hook me up with plane tickets. Well, this is where things started to go south.
