Well, it's back to Scottish Rite

For those not in Site Chat this morning, I broke the news that, indeed, Megan has been re-admitted to the hospital. After receiving her new G-Tube, she was weighed. She is now down to 12lbs 6oz. This is the lowest she has been in a good 4 or 5 months. No specific reason were given as to why she lost so much weight in a week, but my speculation is that it's due in large part to her being sick for the last 6 days.

Well, it's back to Scottish Rite

For those not in Site Chat this morning, I broke the news that, indeed, Megan has been re-admitted to the hospital. After receiving her new G-Tube, she was weighed. She is now down to 12lbs 6oz. This is the lowest she has been in a good 4 or 5 months. Happy New Year and an update on Megan

Well, it's been a tough couple of weeks at house. Starting out, I had the flu. Then Stacy got the flu. We were so scared that Megan would get it, but she didn't. So, after spending a couple of weeks being sick and working from home, I'm back. I want to wish you all a Happy New Year, and I pray that all of you have as great a year, this year, as I had last year. Now you may say to yourself "But JR, what about all of the troubles and setbacks you suffered?" I have only a one answer for that. Yes, we may have had some setbacks, but God is in control of all of this.

So, after spending a couple of weeks being sick and working from home, I'm back. Update...and the flu :(

Merry Christmas everyone! I have found myself a little distressed right now
to be honest. Megan went in for a weight check and a check-up with her
pediatrician today and she lost two more ounces since Friday. She is now
back down to what she was back in October. My fear of them putting her
in the hospital for Christmas seems to be more real every day. Her GI
doctor wants to see her on Friday because her weight has been
consistently getting worse every week. We were told by her pediatrician

But, here it goes. Friday evening around 5:15PM, or so, EST. I get a phone call from DSmooth and immediately he tells me to hold on, that he wants Doodi on the phone too. At this very moment, I thought to myself, then I spoke" Oh great, what did I do?" I thought I was gonna get banned for something I said, or posted. Seriously, I was ready for a BANHAMMER!!! Then, with all three of us on the line.
