Well, mixed emotions on this. On the up side, she weighs 19lbs, up from her 17.5lbs from her last weigh in. He said she looks good. Then things went down hill. He wants us to really watch her. He is holding a flu vaccination, until November, for Megan. But when Stacy was leaving, he let her know that he REALLY wanted to see Megan for her 2-yr check up. Underlying meaning = he wants her to make it through the winter.

No one likes to hear that from their doctor. With this in mind, all I can do is be still.

I wanted to first just let everyone know that I am deeply appreciative of everything this site has done for my family and I. Mere words can not put boundaries on my gratitude. With that I wanted to let you all know that I am going out on a limb and doing something some people may think is weird or uncalled for. A little back ground first. As I was reading my daily verses from the Bible, I stumbled across a verse that particularly stuck out to me and ate at me as I walked the mountain today. Yes, the mountain. It seems a lot has been blogged after walking the mountain.

Absolutely nothing. Although, I did wash both of the cars on Saturday, my weekend was a lazy one. My parent bought me a gas grill, my first one, and I grilled burgers and hot dogs on Monday. As far as I know, no one got sick. :) Oh, and I had some help washing cars on Saturday, as you can see below. Yes, that is a Dora bathing suit and Disney Princess water shoes. Thou hath been pwned!

The short:

Stacy and Megan went down to the Capital Building in Atlanta where Sonny Perdue proclaimed September 28th Mitochondrial Disease Awareness Day. This, of course, is the day of the Music For Megan concert. We are really looking forward to this day, as we get to meet a lot of families whose children have this dreadful disease. Stacy, Megan and Ian-Thomas got a short tour of the building, culminating in a visit to the Senate chambers which was kind of neat.
