Megan's GI visit

We had an appointment with Megan's GI doctor yesterday. It was her normal check-up just to see how things are going. Unfortunately her weight is not good at all. She has lost 5 more ounces and is now back down to only 16 1/2 pounds. He is giving her a month to get her weight back up or we will have to make some drastic changes. They would not be good so we need to pray that she can get her weight back up. She just doesn't seem to be able to absorb her food again. She is still having awful diarrhea so he is adding something to try and help with that.

Scooters

Had the "Scooters" over the weekend and yesterday.

Scooters: Defined by my wife, as having uncontrollable burning poo. My definition: it was like spewing napalm (on fire) with broken glass, razor wire and rubbing alcohol, all mixed together.

Remember that scene from Dumb and Dumber, yes you know the one. This is me, most of the day Sunday and Monday.

Scooters

Update and announcement of upcoming benefit

One thing we have learned the hard way through our almost 17 month journey is what worked for months before can all of a sudden decide not to work anymore. As in my previous update I stated that they had placed Megan back on 24 hour drips because all of a sudden giving her 4 hours off just wasn't working. Since she has been on the 24 hour drips she has stopped the gagging and acting like she needs to throw up. She is still having some issues with pain in her tummy. How sad it is to watch her just hold her tummy and cry and you know it is from pain.

Uppity-date

It appears Megan's tummy issues just aren't going away like we had hoped. Megan had a rough weekend. Some times were ok and some were not. She was pretty sensitive, which is what happens when she is not feeling well. Saturday night we had to take her off her feeds because she was holding her tummy and crying so much. Once we took her off she calmed down and was able to sleep. Sunday the same thing happened on and off all day. Last time this happened they had to take away her time off and put her back on 24 hour drip.
