It's been a good weekend.  Played some games, worked with the filly, got some things done in the house and went to a movie.

I am being schooled in Halo 2 by the boys in the house.  And, I'm learning, slowly.  I would really like to play some CoD 2 with them and I might have a small advantage, LOL.

I picked up Guitar Hero yesterday and played the opening set on easy. Three lousy fingers and I was struggling to get three stars. I was trying to remember how to position my wrist to get better coverage of the frets and wow. This was not easy. I would forget to strum, forget to press a note, etc. But... it is a blast! It is definitely going to take some practice on moving fingers and keeping them in the right position.

Well, my darling husband checked out wally world last night for Guitar hero!  He was going to pick it up for me if they had it.  Well, they didn't but we stopped by Best Buy this afternoon and youngest stepkid (SK1) is currently playing while I sit here trying to get some work done!  He even bought me a nice necklace that I've been eyeing!

Between the elite and Wii, it will be hard to get some time in.  Boy am I glad I have a 360 in the bedroom!

Dastard and I spent the weekend working on moving things to ready the rooms for the boys. The youngest arrived today and OMG is he tall. Twelve years old and over 6 feet tall. Of course, the oldest is even taller. Hugging these kids is really a skill in avoiding the armpits! Cant' quite put my chin over the shoulder even on tip toe! Sadly, I'm out of town and am really bummin.
