Please keep voting for Nygel

I would like to extend our sincerest thanks to everyone who has voted for Nygel so far. The voting resets tonight at midnight. Nygel has received just under 240 votes, which is very respectable. However, the winner from last week got 1,500 votes. We have ten more weeks to get Nygel in the finals. Votes reset each week at midnight on Friday and the top dog after 7 days moves on. So please, everyone keep voting from as many computers as you can and please ask your friends and family to vote for Nygel as well. I apologize for spamming everyone, but this is really important to us.

Please Help Me Pay Respects to Nygel

We came across this contest today and have entered our boy Nygel as the Cutest Dog in the World. I don't expect to win the $1,000,000 but would like to get as many votes as possible as my way of paying my last respects to the best dog that I have ever met. Please go to the link below and vote and have your friends vote to. If we somehow do win any prizes, 50% will be donated to the Humane Society in Nygel's honor. Thank you in advance for voting.

LAN Recovery & A Farewell

Just got home from the LAN and am trying to wrap my head around one chaotic, fun, stressfull and unbelievable weekend. As some of you may know by now, my dog of 12 years, Nygel, had to be put to sleep on Friday while I was in Chicago. Coming home to a house without him, but with so many memories and signs of him (dog hair, water bowls, leashes, pics and worst of all, the void that he used to fill) has been very tough. I want to thank everyone, both in Chicago and online, who helped support me through this and who have sent us so much love in all forms.

Packed and Ready for the LAN

I am all packed up and ready to catch my flight to Awesome Town first thing in the morning tomorrow. Touchdown is at 9:15 am in Chicago and I am meeting Jedi Kez at the O'hare Airport Bar! First round is on me if anyone can find us!

Prepare for the chaos! I fully plan to see a little of this in the next few days.

Doesn't this picture remind you of someone we know? *cough* Mike James *cough*

Sunday Fishing

I got up at 5 am to go fishing for Striped Bass via my kayak this morning. I didn't have much luck, but my friend Sean hooked into this 40" beauty.

Luck for me, Sean already "has a freezer full of striper" so he gave me his catch to take home and cook for the little lady. Needless to say, my girlfriend says I can go fishing with Sean any time I want. :)
