I have'nt preordered but wil be out late with work tonight so planning a few "drive byes" to see if I can find somewhere to pick it up just after midnight! Local Asda and Tesco superstores are on my shortlist of being able to walk in a pick up a copy!

Got to Tesco Superstore at 10pm, not much happening so went back to the car and drove to another tesco nearer my house. They were totally sold out of pre-orders so I panicked and drove straight back to the previous one......
Got back there just before 11pm and joined a queue of about 30 people. By midnight there must have been at least 150+ in the queue which was now running the whole length of the till line!
Got home with my copy at 1am, wide awake after two cans of generic energy drink, installed GTA V, tried out the first couple of missions and had a general wander around......
Was it worth it?
YUP! This game is immense!! Its going to completely ruin my driving in Forza though.......
Yeah I got to game for 11:30 pm. Big mistake. Got it in my hands at 1:38am got home installed play first two missions looked at time and it was almost 3am lol 3 hrs sleep and now at work. What little I did and viewed verified to me that this game is Fucking insane. Is it home time yet
It's not it yet for Android. Apparently the 80% world market share Android has over any other phone is not enough for then to release it first on Android. At least it's not working for the iPhones correctly.
So I'm on the GTA website and holy shit. Is got everything live stocks, snapmatic, checklists the lot

If you ask questions they will be answered :-) To make money on the game you can invest in stocks as the game has a full line stock market. Snapmatic is instagram in GTA world. If you take pics it auto uploads online where you can view then and everyone else's on the website.
The check list is just a list of things you need to do to get a 100% completion on the game.
You can also buy and sell houses, have a pet dog, shag women, take drugs, drink, fly, shoot, race, swim, compete in triathlons, build cars, have a bad ass garage etc etc etc etc etc :-)

Also dont install the Play Disk on the same Drive as the Install disk. It messes up all the textures
The game needs two data points. If you dont like the DVD player spinning install the Play disk to a 16GIG USB2.0 drive and the Install disk to the HDD.

Thank you for this information. I did read the warnings about not installing the play disk to the HDD which I think is crap. I have a 250GB HDD in my Xbox and the first thing I do when I get a new game is intall it to the HDD. I don't like the disk spinning up all the time. I do have a flash drive on my Xbox and I think it is 16GB. If it is, I will install the play disk to it later.
Having problems linking my xbox live with Rockstar it was linked but i have to redo it i think its a problem Rockstar side
You do realize that the mulltiplayer wont be working Tuesday...I think it doesnt kick in for two weeks after the release of the game.....

Been looking at a couple of reviews. Pretty sure I wont be able to control myself by not buying this game sounds like way too much fun.

Is multiplayer up yet? If not, ami at a disadvantage if I don't get in right away? Is you're MP character's appearance customizable?
No multiplayer for at least 2 weeks (MIN)
Rockstar want people to enjoy the Single player mode first as its taken them 5 years to make the game etc.
I have however been looking at the chevos for Miultiplayer. Some intresting ones.
