I can't chase a replay and that is how I find I get faster, and like I say when I first started in the EUSL every week there were ghosts to chase...now none. So...um...I refer you back to my previous post
Most times there are faster cars IN CLASS and people have posted faster times in other cars, so you're probably running out of luck...
pick a comparable time off the leader boards perhaps?
There are three or four times posted in this car but the players have not done them in hot lap mode and I am assuming this is why the times are up in the club leader board but not a ghost...I have watched Poidsly's replay and noticed he is revving right up to the limiter, so that might account for a few tenths. Ah well Church will get one up soon, so as long as it not too much faster I can work with that.
Ah, I see what you want, but I'm afraid the ghosts won't save on indie. Not sure about hotlap mode, but pretty sure it's been discussed to death over at fm.net. Certain tracks no longer record ghosts unless they are within the top xxx or whatever. If the hotlap thing does not work, there will be no EUSL MR-S to chase. It's just not in the car. A bit of advice to improve race performance. Don't just practice with ghost cars. It's bloody helpful to learn the track but In my experience i end up being over reliant on them. I switch them off after 15 or so laps and start learning brake and turn in reference points instead of using the ghost for those things. Try racing other old board times on the club list.
Edit - and possibly what Paps said on the matter which I missed tapping out the above. Ghost thing is deffo limited to a few tracks at the mo.
Ah! that explains it...or doesn't depending on which way you look at it :-) The way I work is I lap until I have trouble keeping up with my own best time, then I look for a ghost that is a second or so ahead of me, I compare lines and braking points and chase that fecker until I nail those places he is faster and at best beat it at worse improve my time. Then I go back and see if I can beat my own ghost, usually I can and the process begins again until race night...It's a method that has seen me well over the last few weeks, I start 5 or six seconds adrift and by race night my times are whithin a second or two of the front runners and consistency should be good enough to hold a slightly faster driver at bay...but if ghosts are unpredictable I must try and glean what I need from replays...not for me the best solution but maybe the one I'm stuck with if there are no ghosts. Shame you can't save then as and when you want or even gift them.
For the faster guys I can get 0.7xx in front of that time on the first sector alone and did a 1.43.2xx dirty
Whos going to get to 1.42 first
Well that pretty much confirms it then. I reckoned a low 1:43 is about the best I can expect on this track. Need to find a whole second and that is going to require a shed load of laps. Not sure I have the time to do so this week. Massively busy.
Right finally got to run some laps in anger, got into the 1.43s. I think the best I can do would be a mid 1.43 or if I manage by some fluke to string it all together a low 1.43.
If you're able to pull this race off this weekend with the recent "upgrades" (too cold?) to your life/household all I got to say to you is NEVER LET THAT AWESOME WIFE OF YOURS GET AWAY!!!
Hat's off to you Sir...if you pull it off, Parcells remains with doubts and rest assured we would all understand if you cannot race. Or those that don't understand we'll just tell them to go fuck themselves
This one could be very interesting. I have hit a complete performance wall and I'm struggling with consistency.
I still have no love for the track. It's the first track where for the lack of visual prompts I am actually counting myself into one corner and I find myself muttering about race diffs at almost every turn :)

With you on that Poidsly, I put in one passable lap 0:1:5xx behind you and have never managed it again...Ah well can't catch Helios for third in the division so I'll just keep my fingers crossed that I stay on track and pick up what points I can.
I didn't think I was going to like this track, but I do it's very rewarding if you get it right. Parcells don't bother showing up I'd hate to embarras you.

Define embarras? That's OK, my plans for the day are to beat you down with consistency in Dirt, Gizzie too

Just done a 1.44.137.
Hope the ghost is there for ya.

Fingers crossed but after what the others have said I don't hold out much hope...
I just set 1:14.500 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HPf_lE1B2Mo

She understands that there are only 2 weeks left of the EUSL and would be a shame to miss any races this late on
Also as I have missed my Wednesday gaming night and if I dont take the mik on Sunday it should be all good.
Unsure on what my performance will be like though due to sleep depravation
My mistake. Parcells did not realize you were in a gay marriage...no woman is that understanding
Mine is, and would whoop your ass for calling her a man...
Don't put up with that crap Church!
Yeah I dont think I shall be telling her that bit or Iwouldnt be able to race. Ever again
Hey Mine brought me that fine Racing Rig...and the Fanatic wheel and see's this whole deal as a positive thing, I can tell you she ain't no man
Anymore sign ups?

Quick question: Did the UK swich to daylight saving times last night? Mainland Europe did, so if the UK did not the race starts at 10 pm my time?
We are now all on DST so I think that means 21:00 for you in Holland.
signed up
Thanks Knight, normal time it is then.
