I suppose so but now I'm hoping to get into room one for the race.

What an idiot Parcells has been. I've been driving this car wrong from week one, upshifting way too early. I can see how low 1:42s are possible with my skills now. It only took me 5 weeks to figure it out.

Hold on a second here...how do I see everyone's best lap time when I'm still in the race?

Parcelles set the room up like this

Laps = 5

Setup - Collisions OFF,

Compare best lap YES

end race timer 10:00

Make sure you have google docs open.

Then once you have finished laps 4 press start and take everyones times down.

Cheers.

Please Note: If we only have 16 players turn up there will be 2 qualification rooms but only 1 race room. I will then split the 2 rooms by using the groups option.

The host will be required to stop before the end of the race to record finished fastest lap times. Invalid laps will receive a +1 minute penalty. Times will be entered on the Google docs sign up sheet and will be sorted 17th place will host the 2nd room; positions will be given to 17th place (so have a pen and paper ready)

Exceptions may happen for unstable connections.

That. Was. Intense. One little mistake and 2mph less carried into the straight and you had me. Think I have started to conquer my nerves. Now just need to sort out overtaking. One thing is clear from having raced Raddo, hyper and church on a fairly regular basis, and that is that I'm definitely using slightly different lines to you all and seem have a lower entry speed but comparable or better exit speed. Puzzling. Cheers guys. Great race.

Was a fantastic race fella.

For you to lose that position by kissing the grass then been MAX 60ft away from me for 13 laps and not to even touch each other....

Good race I say smiley

Results are up fella!!

Now do I use the final point drop now and we all have 2 races left to go for it or wait till the next race.

Also if i use the last one now i will not include race 19 and 20 in to the mix. So if you crash-out ect in one of these they will be no recovery smiley

Ohhhh! Intriguing thought. I kind of like the idea of the possible risk of totally bombing out. Someone else you understand, not me :) Only joking, but I'm easy on this.

Personally I think you would be insane to do this. I think Raddo and Rogue needs to chip in for the pro section. Having thought about it, I don't actually mind if I dropped as a result of bombing out. I've had a great first season and have learnt a huge amount. On the other hand it would be more consistent to leave the drop as late as possible. BTW how's mum and bump coming on?

Your misses must be getting impatient mate. :) Ran 8 laps of Indy GP. Hated every bit of it. It's So damn featureless. I'm going to have to spend a great deal of time looking for markers. Genuinely think this is my least favourite track in the history of forza. No, there is one I would choose to run less and that is the test track. Large run off areas though so few issues if you choose to drop a race now!!!!

I never used to like this track but after reading the below I have quite a bit of respect for it smiley

Should be a good race though.

Another one of those tracks....Hates it I does. Why is it on some tracks with a little effort I can get within a couple of seconds of the faster times and then on others I am five seconds and more adrift...Just one of life's little mysteries I suppose.

1:51.773 and 1:33. Now I am confused. Can we just confirm the track. Indy GP? Right?

Upppsss blush..... hello .....

SORRY for my stupid prestart. I had forgot, that we would drive a first round without overtaking. Upppssss. I'm just exactly that rookie, all others warned you about. I will do better next time. Promised.

The race was for me ..... how to say .... time to learn. In the last round I heard Oldslowfred say "Here are coming the leaders. Guys I stay right!" So did I and you know what: the leaders could pass without problems and I lost totaly my rythm. Suddenly I was aside the track and so Oldslowfred passed. In the very last corner I desperately tried to overtake him, but stopped my attempt, as I saw where this would end. I forced down the breakpedal, touched the wall and finished my race at last position.

For me even that is fun and now - back from work - I will train at Indy GP. After all you wrote, this track might be terrible. Hmmmm, I will see.

Wish you all a good week!

Yup. Smegging bastard track. The link Church posted does however give it some historical perspective and maybe softens the agony of learning it a little. Still won't find motivating myself easy on this one though. @knight 150 laps. Crikey mate. @church my first was 2 weeks overdone. Wrinkly and white. Little tyrant now ;) @dankert keep with it. There will be a moment when you pull of something and you just sit back and think "hell yeah, that was awesome"

@knight

You were directly behind me and I worried about the next corner, hold my line and tried to leave enough space for "the quicker one", but suddenly you weren't there anymore. Sorry man. Dammed technical problems, right?
