When I was making my way through the field, there was a distinct difference in driving styles. The guys towards the front were using the brakes with lift off turn in to make the car corner hard. They were then powering out of the corners using the natural pull of the car.
Hitting your apex is absolutely critical in these cars, overdriving them and missing it by a foot will cause you to loose 2 foot on the exit. The behaviour of the car is pretty predictible, they push like crazy if you are too gentle and more often that not will have a little bit of push under throttle.
This is a different level of car control, similar to how to get the BMW to turn in in the qualification.
That is good - i stil want people to race each other, but slightly more group focused.
I will implement a colour rule for the Aliens next season, they'll have a gold strip accross the top of the windscreen or gold mirrors to help identify them. :)

I think so also parcells, 10 seconds was suggested but i didn't want to go full on not knowing the outcome.
Generally i think it was well recieved, there were less do or die manouvers from aliens and Div 1's got to see where we gain time a bit better. I hope that will help people who want to work on their skills :)
xxSitement : I thought we would have more people turning up for division 2, it would have made from some really great racing. Back in EUSL 2 and 1, the best racing to watch was in that division. Sorry it turned out that only 2 of you were running consistently, whats worse is, you both have always been about mid pack in div 1. I will be combining the two for the next one :)
I'll still start the slower guys upfront because the faster guys are good enough to work through a pack cleanly. It also gives the other people a chance to see how its done and hopefully learn some thing about planning a pass :) I was certainly doing it on Sunday as i had to wait for gaps to make the move and make it stick.

last sunday I heard someone say something about the handbrake, but didn't understand. It is a real problem for me to concentrate on racing and hearing / talking at the same time. I am such a rookie.
My question is: Do you really use the handbrake while driving this awd-car? Or was it a joke?
i used it momentarely when i got it all wrong, it brought the car out of the push and using the power I pulled it right out of the slide. Not used for normal driving! all the rotation is done using agressive lift off throttle technique :)
umm not sure but am i able to join up for this and the new V4 eusl ? am very new to this and have no idea what is going on with the spreadsheets or how to sign up etc O.o lol
ide like to try come for this and then the new one when that starts (i saw u posted about 4 weeks or something) i dont mind starting with nil points :D... though i will have to try find my old headset or go buy a new one the races we had tonight were fun.. all my cars are kinda shitty prize cars with random AH tunes on atm just trying to get some cash and build up a garage while working my way thru the game playing catch up ;

This is a little bit different to the normal races on here,the rules are much tighter but and the racing can be more intense. But, some of the best racing around can be had here and people are willing to help.
I will invite you for the next race, see how you like it, just keep in mind that these guys have done 9 races of points and they are battling hard for the final position. The points reset for EUSL 4, so if you like what you see then you will be battling also! :)

Alot of time can be found in the first corner, the corner after the hairpin and the one just before the back straight. This will be some close racing here :D
best i could get with both cars was a high 1:05:+ though i was constantly around 1:06 both cars to me felt dif but were getting very similar times in my hands, since i do not like subaru stigma i will be driving the evo.

All aliens should run in bright green cars

Maybe Div 2, all 2 or 3 of us can go out early ahead of Div 1 for the same reason. I also be happy starting last.

Div 2 will be removed next season, so i'll stick you in Div 1.
1.06 and 1.05's aren't too bad for your first outting, I'll try and run some laps with you and give you a few pointers on what to expect :)

In the Subaru the best I could manage was a 1.04.730 but was mostly running in the low 1.05s.
