I can't race till Microsoft fix the problem with the wheel post console update, to say its been acting erratically is an understatement. FFB comes and goes and then it's like the power steering goes and it makes it harder to turn the wheel.
I have not laughed so much in ages, the ding dong at the back of the grid was why I LOVE these old rear wheel drive carts. Close, a little nudge no and then but boy was it close. Knight I don't know why you don't like RWD as you were absolutely nailing it! Pity your mike was so soft as I am sure that there were a few 'choice' words that I needed to add to my vocabulary....
Stevie, my wife now shouts out at me 'Stevie! Inside!!' at the most in opportune moments so that tells you something about our continued battles and Shadders, i thought I was toast on the last few corners as I got it all wrong but thankfully you have still not found the Nitrous button so I survived to fight another day.
Well done to all, off to use the strimmer on my chest hair and change my Cravat....
So difficult track for this cars - extremely thin line between top grip and drift mode - when You cross it track is to narrow to forgive ......
Most stupid action of the day - hit tire wall pit entry - need to go to optician..........
Race 1 - Apologies to someone lap 2 or 3. Fitzy i think. Could not see you due to cockpit view and first i knew was seeing the car sideways. Totally unintentional mate. Lap 5 started to get into a rythem afetr fearing I was going to tangle with bastek again ;) but a little mistake saw me clear and into hot lapping mode. Tourni - whilst your spin it was beautiful to behold I felt I did not deserve the win, but what the hell....
Race 2 - yeah - KC was just way too fast - where the hell has he come from ;). I was pushing like crazy and except for 2 laps was holding it mid to low 1:27's every lap. Surprised myself even.
Tourni - I need some lessons. I'm losing time in brake zones. You aliens are so late and wide. You dive in way after I do, but I can't make it work.
Good fun and I should have a new wireless mic soldered up to my x31's next week.
In the first race, lap 6, I got hit by someone who had lost control of his car after contact with another in the long lefthander after the finish, just bad luck that dropped me from 8th to 14th and lost more than 10s in the process.
Lap 10 made a pass on Parcells after an awesome setup in the first righthander, eventually got back to 7th.
Race 2, started in 3rd got in1st after about half a lap & started pushing as hard as I could.
iam glad you do do it tourni. i enjoyed myself immensely. good race, i kept out of trouble. i think. nice crash there bastek nearly took you out after it. keep up the good work. :)

Antz : What is the most rewarding is seeing people get faster and people are alot better in traffic now than when it first started.
Poidsly: Thats racing, i was pushing my luck through that turn and just lost it completely, for a moment i thought i was going to be lucky and then WHAM i was going into the the barrier. You kept it stead y and close enough to take the position. Well done :)
Brakes are all about feel when you are at our level, you know where to push the brakes to their limit because the track is smooth enough to do so. Most of the time we are using 95% braking power to keep consistency. When we go for a pass, we go for the 100%, occasionally we will lock them up doing so. The best advice i can give you is get on the brakes to where you normally would and then slowly and smoothly squeeze that trigger a little bit further, next lap do the same and keep doing it until it becomes a second nature :)

Phew...some intense stuff there...still don't like this car and will be glad to see the back of it. couple of suicide dives into corners caused me some hassle but was suitably medicated so just got on with wrestling this bloody hunk of junk around a track it seemed particularly unsuited to. Dawg I shall see you on Tuesday!
I can end up with no sound what could be new expirience :-) Slowly moving house and my sound system end up in boxes .... hope that headphones connected to Fanatec gt2 will work...
That was fun!
1st race especially. Was throwing everything at staying with the boss, and trying to ignore the looming KC behind.
2nd race, enjoyed the first few laps. 3 side by side at times but stayed clean. Then rogue with a few mistakes allowed me an early chance for the pass. Right I thought, put the hammer down, but Tourni was quicker still and KC - words fail me. I felt like a snail :)
In the 2nd it was a classic example of what happens on tracks like Mugello. Push really hard and you drop a second a lap.
Won't make the next three as I'm in the US. Should be there for the final one.
Well that was just damn strange after two and a half hours of driving the SRF in iRacing. Wheel and pedals feel completely different, still no love for this car lol,
What i find quite interesting is the points gap in Div 1 from 3rd to 7th is 6 Points! and Antz is also chasing bastek for the lead, noticed he has really stepped up his game :)

Good to see king cobra joining the alien ranks, i dread the EUSL s4 with him building and tuning... :D
At a quick glance there were some very close times in there, i had another brilliant race with Bastek and helios :)

Sorry I left, my wife and I have had a bit of a disagreement over her inability to answer the phone when she knew I was racing just to piss me off.
Yeah KC was running strong, had me pushing the car for all it had in effort to catch him, but we remained the same.
Poidsly, you drove a supurb race there - alot of pressure from you and your consistency has most certainly improved! :)
Should make 3 out of the next 4 now.
