On a sadder note it looks like tonights festivities have been cancelled by Sony due to a server maintenance activity. Can't connect now and scheduled to end in another 6-7 hours. Since I'm primed for racing (and you know what that means) I'll be starting up a Forza production lobby any minute now pushing for a Lotus theme but 100% stock tune/build (only cars Parcells has )

Hey guys, have a great idea for Thursday, June 7. Built a nice Ford Focus which will be loads of fun. Little different than my prior builds. If someone else wants to do a build, or if Parcells doesn't like this one, feel free to delete, otherwise, check out the spreadsheet.
Also, this car is good fun for the new FF expert seasonal that came out last week.
You crack me up Sir! Hard to go wrong with a Focus should be fun. That said Parcells had a sad face when I saw a fully customizable transmission which means I normally have to spend a little bit of time "practising" to see what my gear settings should be but I'll manage...spend tomorrow night setting up this weeks and next weeks cars so good job on getting your build built in plenty of time :)

The Ferrari does drive like a dream, very nice. I noticed the race soft tyres losing grip quickly (again) with a powerful car like this one. Will have to monitor the number of laps to be in Parcells favor.
The Focus will be a riot you can guarantee it, especially with the scheduled tracks it will be some tight racing and a lot of fun. Awesome build Craig. It must have taken some serious will power to not install any power parts, well done. Are you feeling OK?

I stumbled across the idea when I was doing the seasonal event with a 430 PP Focus standard car. It drives like a dream. I then built this car and it drives almost as well. The seasonal was at Tsukuba and was a riot. We will have fun with the car and the tracks!!!
Getting interwebs hooked up tomorrow...then I'll be able to move all my race equipment to the new house this weekend. Should be back next week. Cheers.

Guys, I just did a spec car for this week's spec races. Its the RE Amemiya RX-7, which is availabe in the new car dealership. Just add Chassis Reinforcement, Adjustable Diff and Sport Hards and you are good to go. You also can use this car to compete in the new expert seasonals that just were released.

We don’t have a spec car for this week but we’ll figure something out and possibly re-use one of the cars we’ve recently run??? I plan on getting the track today and hoping to run it tomorrow evening. If everyone but Greg buys this track we’ll just get on his case again and I’ll owe him $10.00 (vs. the 5 I already owe him for Spa ) when I give him golf lessons in late September. Parcells, I will do it tonight, but my recollection is that you have to first buy the DLC in the Playstation Store, before you even load up the game. You then go into the game. After it loads up, but before you go into the GT Life screen, you install the DLC by hitting the red button on the far right of the initial menu screen.
This DLC is going to cost me $15, $5 for each PS3 that I have hooked up for triple screens. Oh well, part of the price I pay for having three times the fun!!!!
Probably going to out again this week. Hopefully I'll have all my stuff moved by the end of this weekend, so I'm hoping to be back very soon, next week if everything goes to plan.
Hey guys, I got the Scion, it's free, and Motegi, five bucks, last night. The Scion drives amazingly, stock, with sport soft tires. Maybe we can run tonight? To get the car and track, you have to first go to Playstation Store. Sony has a big update for the PS3, so give yourself some time. Once you buy from the store, go in game and install via the red icon on the opening screen, before you go into GT Life. Once you install, the car will show up in your delivery truck.

My wife took the kids out of town to the inlaws, so I should be on earlier tonight, probably by around 6pm PST. I will be using the new Thrustmaster T500RS wheel and pedals, with the TH8RS shifter. My Elite is out of commission, and I got the T500 for a screaming hot price, $365, at Fry's Electronics, based on a price match from tigerdirect.com.

"Actually we are working on the fan settings to cool the wheel better and therefore I would suggest to set the wheel itself to ~80% to keep the temps low until we refined the adjustment of the fan to the heat. Thank you!"

I hate to sound like a broken record, but are you guys cool with doing the Scion as next week's spec car? Its free DLC, which is available in the Playstation Store. After you download it from there (don't worry its quick), you install it the usual way by clicking on the far right icon on the first screen that comes up after GT5 loads.
Assuming you guys are cool, I will post the specs on the chart this weekend, along with the tracks. You can count on doing Deep Forest and Twin Ring Motegi.
That was kind of funny that most of us went throught the hassle of purchasing and downloading Motegi but didn't bother looking for the "free car". Parcells believes this is because we don't give a shit about a stupid car vs. being old and forgetful.

Having trouble signing into PSN, on the playstation it tells me I need to change my password but then times out with an error.
On the PSN website I get a site down for maintenance (500 error)
