It is amazing how much everyone changes. They drove right past that guy on the road but stopped on the way back through to loot the dead body.

You guys think seeing Morgan like that will snap Rick out of his funk?

I don't know if any of you watch talking dead afterwards, my wife and I do, and find it interesting in what they talk about most of the time. One of the comments is that when Rick was talking to Morgan, he was really making referenences to himself in how he should wake up and smell the corpses! All in all I thought it was a good episode. Vastly different from the books, but it's ok. I know a bunch asked where Morgan was so it wrapped that question. They should've taken more weapons with them, tho.

Oh, and best quote from talking dead of the night was a tweet: "now where can they find a picture of Shane so Judith will know what her dad looked like? "

I think seeing Morgan got Rick's attention, and his joke at the end with Mishonne slightly alludes to it I think as well.

This was my favorite episode in a while. (I know you're all thinking that can't be true, because I'm a chick, and there was no Norman Reedus lol)

LOVED the almost smile Michone gives Carl when he shoots "the guy". LOVE Michone's ninja skills getting on the roof so fast and to retrieve the picture. CONFUSED as to why the cafe was full of walkers? Good episode all around.

I loved the episode, but I think the entire series has taken the easy way out when it comes to the comic books.  They left the visuals out with Duane, the twins from the farm, the governor's kid, etc...

Okay, how long before Andrea figures out where she doesn't need to be?

Will Tyrese and group as well?

Did the talk outside cause some possiblity of doubt in the Woodbury ranks?

Will Rick have a talk with Merle? cool

Best phrase from the "Talking" show, Sex Garage...

Oh, and who on the show ISN'T English?

I think the talks outside are a vital part of the story, showing how each group of two longs for a richer community, and while each person will continue to his job, they each wish for something better. I think this ultimately will lead to disharmony within the town of Woodbury.

Oddly enough, I think that the four outside, along with Andrea and Merle, will turn out to be the heroes, or solution to the "war."

Nothing ever good comes from the Walking Dead.  That's a given.  The talks outside is just 2 soldiers shooting the the shit.  In different circumstances, they'd be friends.  In the Walking Dead, Daryll will have to kill him.  It'll be ugly, it will be sad.  That's just how it goes.

See, I see a whole nother direction, south as it were.

I see Andrea trying to take out the Gov. and Milton ratting her out before the attempt...

There's no doubt in my mind after the last episode, Andrea jumping the first walker while the boys were "after you"ing that when she finally makes her mind up, she'll go for it.

I don't agree. Milton is starting to question the Gov and his descisions.

Yeah, but he's spineless...and scared of the Gov.

I can see him trying to avoid a conflict between the two groups, as he said earlier, it's not productive, but I don't see him wanting to risk everything he has where he's at.

He's quite comfortable in Woodbury right now and very scared outside Woodbury.

But don't you agree that Milton's method of coping is collabaration and research? Without a current project to work on, he is now forced to see what's going on around him, to leave the comfy room he's been hiding in. Like most scientists, he's going to lean towards temperance and tolerance. But I think that's later.

Also, Rick has to decide whether or not to give up Mishone, and my husband and I think she may end up being a sort of Trojan Horse. That's where Merle's strategic expertise will come in. Then each person has to decide how much death they want to bring, and I think some people will make some surprising choices, including Milton, Tyrese, and Hershel.

The show really seems to be an exposition on how the situation changes people. Building on that, can you imagine what they could do with Milton outside Woodbury?

I think you could be right on Mishonne, but can you imagine the conversation about her being the bait?

I still say Andrea's going to go for it, but I don't think it'll go well.

I think Hershel's already made some hard decision's about pulling a trigger, going back to the bar scene in town where they have to take out the two outsiders, a notable killing of "live" people. And Rick's question about Mishonne versus Hershel's daughters hit home quite hard.

I do think there will be some Woodbury survivors, and a few might be brought into Rick's group. But I think Woodbury itself will perish.

I think he's Andrea's immediate and possibly only chance at the moment.

No one else knows where she is, or even that where she is exists...

The Couch of Death? hehe.

I think that if she was gonna be dead, it'd already have happened in that episode.

The Govnah doesn't seem to want anyone to die too quickly, so I'm holding out on a rescue...

Milton will TRY to save Andrea, but he'll either get killed trying, or one of those neck restraints so he can watch Andrea get tortured. He's going to have to mention the room or the vent to someone on the fence like Tyrese for Andrea to get saved.

Governor, if he's rational and logical (if) his next move would be to neutralize Milton. I would say Milton knows too much, clearly things have been held back from him, but he does know too much about the operations of Woodbury.

The most effective thing to do would be to expose the Governor turning on a member of Woodbury.

They're already unhappy about the poor guy he put down that was bit. That rattled them. If they saw him turn on someone else, they'd know he could turn on anyone, ...blind panic and exodus...or with Martinez and group, perhaps mutiny.

But I've been saying for weeks, Miltons going to die a horribly painful death. I just feel it coming.

Wish there was a poll option..

Who do you think will kill the Governor?

Michonne

Beth

Glenn

Merle

Darrel

Rick

Andrea

Milton

Tyrese

Herschel

Carl

Holy Frijoles! Husband and I discussed it early in the season, and we were sure that Daryl would end up having to kill Merle, but I gotta say, I NEVER saw this coming. Zombie Merle was completely from left field. It also closes the door on a very talented actor.

And SERIOUSLY?! The season finale is next week? BAAHH!!

I knew this would happen, especially after playing the new Deryl and Merle tie-in game that came out back on Tuesday.
In the opening scene Daryl's dad and uncle are out hunting and are attacked by zombies when the outbreak first happens. Daryl's dad goes to save his uncle, but gets injured so badly, they need to put him out of his misery, but Daryl couldn't do it. He steps away and asks his uncle to do it for him.

I saw it as a process for Daryl to grow on, and eventually he'd have to face Merle with a resolve he didn't have with his father.
I thought Merle's plan of attack was quite inspired.

They were so focused on shooting the walkers, add in the noise they were generating themselves and they didn't realize they were being shot at.

The Rick/hallucination thing is becoming quite clear now.

Did anyone catch Carl's reaction to Rick's revelation? It didn't sit well.

Oh, and Glenn went to Jared's! ...sorta...

This made me laugh. But considering he cut it off some rotting corpse finger, it was a nice shiny rock.

6 more days until the showdown. I was tempted to shut off the TV before "Next week on WD..." but I watched it anyway. I loved that they showed just a very quick tease of what's to come and now I can't wait.
