It was a fun episode but sometimes i wonder about it. How come only one person got shot? Why doesn't Mchone have any other facial expressions? How come no one has a turtle? These are the things that keep me up at night.
Thats funny, wife and I are rewatching the show from the beginning and we just watched that scene.
in season one, walkers used tools, and hopped 7 foot fences, took 20 blows to the head with bats to kill, and would often run. They have changed since then. I would say in another year, the walkers may be close to dieing off.
Seriously? WTF are these writers thinking? All they had to do is shoot the Gov.! You know, the guy in the center ring screaming at Daryl and Meryl to kill each other. They shoot a kid and leave the Gov. alive?
I have been a HUGE HUGE fan of this show since it started, but I must admit it seems like each season the show is really losing me. I felt that they rode the whole farm thing way to long in season 2 and now seem to be riding the whole Gov thing way to long. Really wish they would return to the city some as well as bring Morgan and Dwaynes story back at some point. But looks like the rest of season 3 is Rick vs Gov and more Rick vs Gov.
The whole I am delusional and seeing apparitions thing from Rick kind of left a bad taste in my mouth to be honest. For a premiere, the drama was slow. Still love the shit out of this show though, but we need a new infusion of interesting characters. Michonne helps and I am looking forward to seeing what role (Tyrese?) has in the future...also more Merle.
I think my biggest complaint lately is that the zombie threat seems to becoming almost a sideline story. They have made them seem far less threatening in the last 5-6 shows...people now just walk up to them and kill them at will...they were punching them down with fists in last night's show. A neutered zombie population that is basically just bat and bullet fodder is far less intriguing to me. I don't need some 'I Am Legend' type stuff, but a little more danger would do me good personally.

If you follow the comics you'd know Rick goes cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs after Lori dies. He's not right in the head at this point.
As for the Zombies, the group has just learned how to deal with them. They've fought them for about a year now. They know how to kill them and they got very good at it. The biggest thing is, they are no longer scared by them. This is also in the comics.
Zombies are not the true evil on the Walking Dead.

Yeah I never read the comics. In fact, when I was thinking back, I'm not sure I have ever read A comic at all. At least, none that I remember. I figured it was going more for the struggle of man vs man and kind of bringing out evil elements in man, I was just hoping that the zombie element of suspense wasn't going to be completely neutered.
Great episode. My eye hurts after watching that scene.
awesome. can't wait for february.

She actually has a wide range of scowls: http://www.vulture.com/2012/11/michonne-scowl-walking-dead.html
hilarious!
I saw a bunch of people get shot.
@Lala... Heck yea! I cringed with that eye thing too. I must have rubbed my eye for a minute.
The second half is going to be fantastic. Damn awesome show.
Ya guess I musta been sleepy, rewatched that scene and there are 4 confirmed lead bellies. Can't believe I completely forgot the ghost of deputy past.
I think Rick was in love with Shane, sorta that Goose and Maverick chemistry in Top Gun.
Ew, Old lady hands.

Can't remember, does Andrea know Shane is dead?
Michone's only job is to kick ass and cut people or zombies heads off. She's bad ass in the comics.
Time for the spring run. Who's ready?
Hell yeah I'm ready! Mid season breaks are teh stupid!
Only think that sucks is, the Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome movie is on at the same time
/checking in
So glad they are moving along. This part of the comics was epic :)
Great avatar picture Double T!
Can't wait for it to start back up Sunday.

"We are contractually obligated to write 7 more episodes so we're going to ride this whole Governor thing out."
I did think the same thing, though. The first bullet hit a walker before all hell broke loose - why not shoot the most dangerous person in the room?

Rick has about lost it. I thought the plan was to shoot the Gov. at the onset. Glen piped up about it some.
I don't mind the story line. Things are going to go to shit quick for team Grimes if Rick can't keep the badasses at the prison though.
