I have to work 12 hours tomorrow.  I hafta get my ass out of bed and be to work by 7:00.  Enuf said about that.

Not much has been going on in my household or my life lately.  Just me and hubby getting older and older.  Well, not me!  I get younger and younger.  But, sometimes he scares me.  He sleeps a lot.  Tells me he'll be gone soon.  Sometimes I feel like saying "shit or get off the pot!"  It's sorta like "it's the big one" over and over.  Enuf said about that, too.

My road trip in April is starting to take shape.  I AM going to Virginia, first off.  It's the closest and actually in the wrong direction, so it has to be first.  Then, I haven't told him yet, (oops) but I would like to stop off in Knoxville and see my bud and allll his friends again, especially the cute little goddaughter.  Onward west to someplace in OK, have to find out where, to deliver a gift.  I am really into this crochet thing right now, so I will be starting work on that baby blanket soon.  I have several places to go in Texas, which, unfortunately, is a very big state!  I'm think

Dear God.....

I know, second blog today.  I'm just a blog whore, I guess.  I just wanted to follow up on my whining of this morning.  It is raining.  It has been raining and cold allll day.  I drove to the park and ride this morning and the bus was already there.  Good!  From car to bus in the rain is not too bad.  There was one seat by the window left, so I thought I would grab that one.  Yikes!!!!  The window had leaked and the seat was not just wet, it was SOGGY wet!  I jumped up and uttered a few choice words and got way too much attention from the others on the bus.  One guy offered me his seat.  Th

Yuk.  For the first time in a while, I have nothing to say.  Well, I do.  I want to whine a bit.  I don't feel good.  Blah!  I've had a sore throat for 5 days and a cough that comes and goes.  what's up with that?   It was virtually gone and I woke up this morning in relapse.  The thing is, I never really get sick.  I just hang around on the edges of it.  I don't have a fever.  The throat really isn't that bad, just lingering.  The cough is a pita, but will go away.....someday.  It's the headache!!!!!!   Owie!  I'm pretty grumpy when my head hurts.  Oh, yeh, I will go to work.  It's not tha

It prolly isn't well-known, but I belong to the Press and Writer's guild here on the site.  Oh, are we a guild?  Well, it sounds good.  It is a secret society that strives to make our front page more interesting, among other things.  There's actually a lot more to it, and we all have our jobs to do, but, until now, I have been an editor.  Sounds cool....editor.  Some of the things you see on the front page have been edited by me, some not.  But, I am trying to spread my wings a little, and try my hand at actually writing an article.  Oh, it's still a secret, and needs lots of work.  But I h
