I woke up with a headache this morning.  Again.  I have put off doing many of the things I should do to get ready for Christmas.  Bah Humbug!  I just don't seem to have the time for much, these days.  Gaming has sorta gone down the tubes.  Yeh, I'm still playing, can't help myself.....  But, so much less.  I have to go shopping this morning.  Yes, I HAVE to!  I would rather chew nails.    And, I have to make something for a party I am going to tonight.  Not a big deal, but....  On the bright side, my 46" LCD flat screen super cool HDTV arrived yesterday.  Hubby's comment?  Yeh, it does look

I have said before that I am a better friend to others than they are to me.  Or do I just think so?  I was basically told to fuck off by 3 different people in 3 different situations, all in the same day.  And, that would be yesterday.  Why?  Because they all have a place in my heart, and maybe don't want to be there.  I have always been shy and sensitive (YES!  it's true!) and being smacked in the face 3 times yesterday just put me over the edge.  It is a huge effort on my part to reach out to others.  Maybe I do it wrong?  Well, if I do, that is me and if you don't like it......  All I rea

I bought the new router.  It arrived yesterday and is a great little thingee.  Only problem was i didn't have a PCI adapter on my PC.  WTF??  i want my internet back!  So, instead of coming straight home from work tonight, I detoured to Best Buy where one like myself can wander around in awe for several days....but I didn't.  Instead, this very nice young man said "can I help you?" and YES, you certainly can!  I told him what I needed and, after a good bit of discussion, I decided, yes, indeed, this was it.  He said hesitantly..."it has to be installed".  What?  You just look at me and thin

I woke up this morning with a huge headache and feeling like I had been running all night instead of sleeping.  Why?  This stupid dream i had, i suppose.  All night long I was running from giants, goblins, all sorts of monsters, and falling into all kinds of traps.  I managed to escape, but when I came back, everyone else was being chased and whatever, so they screamed at me "how do you stop this?".  I screamed back "turn it off!"  Wow, to be inside a video game is just not as much fun as playing it!  Whew.
