And I mean survived almost literally. My bloodsugar is probably 1 billion or so because I drank so much Pepsi. I can't even look at a soda bottle for a while.

Heat, booze, walking, more booze, costumes, booze, more walking, concerts, booze...

Did I mention the booze?

I won't go into detail in this blog about all that happened because it would take too long and I'm still recovering.

But a couple of quick highlights.

1.)Meeting and hanging out with Ray Parks (Darth Maul) We went and got drinks and just chilled.

I mean Dragon*con day.

Anyways. Gonna be heading to Atlanta in 4 hours and so...still have some stuff to do. Got some painting...yeah I know its last minute. But oh well.

If the hotel room has internet and I have access to a guys laptop thats gonna be in the room with us, I'll post an update or something.

Akira isn't going to Dragon*con. Well that alleviates some strain for today then. I wont have to do all the crap to my car. Just the break pads.  Because Im driving with a friend then.

Twas the day before D*con,
And all through the print shop,
All the printers were printing,
Even the......aww fuck it.

Not much of a writer of bullshit anyway. Its the day before D*con and theres an ass of things to do. But right now I can't do any of it because I'm stuck at the job waiting on that beautiful little pay stub I get every week. That will go nicely in my pocket for spending cash at the con. Although Im gonna try not to spend too much if I plan on getting that HDTV soon when I get back.

Ordered some new pants last week. Same size and all that I'm currently wearing. Even same brand. Well they came in yesterday...and they don't fit. And not in the good way of not fitting.

Talk about a kick in the nuts. So a little down about that. Not gonna give up...just lost alot of steam from that blow. Thought I was actually getting somewhere...silly me.

Anyway...today's food forecast.

On to the Rant & Insightful part of the program....

Wasn't sure if I was gonna be here or not. After that show Friday night I wasn't sure if I was gonna go join a Dom school or something. Because I definitely feel like im in the wrong line of work now. Sitting here infront of this computer screen, making letterheads, business cards and art prints...I feel very unfullfilled.

Anyway. Back to the old grindstone. Perhaps some opportunities will present themselves at Dragon*con. Need to get some bus cards printed.

Well this weekend has been decent so far. Tomorrow is gonna suck. Cutting grass in 100 degree weather is not my idea of a good time. And I gotta change the break pads in my car.

Oh well...its gotta get done.

The club was part good and part bad. Went out decked in Silent Bob apparel, got some recognition which was cool. Bad part...camera didnt work in the club because it was too dark, and any light that was there was either a strobe or something going off. And if I used the flash, everything came out blurry because of all the motion. So that was the shit part.

Thank God it's Friday. This week has been long and not so great. So I'm glad another week is gone. Hopefully next week will be better.

As for this weekend I have alot planned before Dragon*con! 6 days left! WOOOOOOOOOO!

Today I gotta get my hair cut, get it dyed black. Get my beard dyed as well...if it doesnt cost $50+. Got my batman utility belt finished last night as well. Got my lightsaber hooked to it. Just gotta finish the grappling gun and then my costume will be complete.

Decided to write about something a little different today. About how I grew up a gamer and what it means to me.

Games and gaming in general have changed alot since I have been alive. Although I'm only 26, I've seen gaming make the conversion from 2D to 3D. I've seen companies rise to the top and companies fall into nothing. I've seen franchises begin and end. Gaming has been more than a hobby to me. Its been a lifestyle since I could hold a controller.
