Tonight 2Old2Shoot will be running it's weekly Clan night. We'll be playing private games of Black Ops 2 all night long. Sticks and Stones or LMGs only on Nuketown is a friggin blast. We'll even try to squeeze in some of the new maps. If you're interested in hopping on for a few games, send Gunny, MNVikesfan or me a message and we'll get you in. We'll most likely be running two rooms and we'd like to fill both up.
Honestly I'm still a bit butt hurt over failing to land that farm deal, But the world must go on.
Just as a quick update about me, I've finished building/modding a new hunting rifle and have it landing shots at .5 MOA at 600 yards (for those firearm illiterate in the group, it is really really really accurate.) The wife has me playing Minecraft almost nonstop in our off hours, and yet I have found time for yet ANOTHER hobby....turns out I have the knack for writing childrens books, with my sick sense of humor and severly disturbed mind, who could have guessed!
With today's Wall Street Journal story there has been a nice influx of new 2old2play members. We are working as quickly as possible to approve new signups. Please bear with us...
You can pick up indie title To the Moon for $3.39 on steam this week (actually for another 7 hours) which is 66% off.
To the Moon is a critically acclaimed indie game (average metacritic score of 81). It is a retro-style RPG with a fantastic sound track and an incredible story. By all accounts there isn't much in the way of fresh and exciting or innovative gameplay but the story and setting are said to be brilliant. Worth gambling the price of a cup of coffee and a muffin on if you are in the mood for gorgeous music and a brilliant story.
So a couple months back we had a Corporate Trainer come up to "train" us. Basically they are lessons in common sense and it drives me crazy. The one point that stuck out in everyones mind is this notion of Above the Line and Below the line. It has to do with how we talk and behave and whether we talk in a positve or negative tone.
