The rest of my birthday was phenomenal! Matt came over after work and took me to dinner where I had the BEST lamb shanks of all time and a gorgeous walnut pomegranate puree (Fesejan it's called) with rice. So so so so good. After dinner he brought out more presents (was feeling like he had spent WAY too much on me, so I told him to go easy on Christmas). He got me a (very nice) DARTBOARD! We throw darts a lot and he even got me 2 very nice sets darts (weighted at 24 and 26) and flights that say Dart Bitch :) I love it!!! He also got me a wipeoff board to keep score on.

Today is my birthday!!! So far it has been stellar. I woke up to a very nice good morning kiss and ... then we had breakfast later. Eggs cooked just like I like them, English cream tea (prepared properly), beans on toast, potatoes, sausage... ahhhh. :) Great start. Then some XBOX with Matt (Super Meat Boy, Braid and Portal), then a stunning birthday cake from Bruster's (they make the BEST ice cream cakes)- it was a strawberry shortcake ice cream cake with chocolate ganache, buttercream rosettes, and oreos. I know, it sounds like a culinary disaster but it was actually delicious!

So Matt and I decide to go to my parents' house for Christmas. My mom asks, So you'll be in the basement and we'll put Matt ont eh 3rd floor? I said no, he can just stay with me. She asks waspishly "And why is that?" I'm thinking to myself "because sex is easier that way" but instead I answered "because he stays with me most of the time anyway". She huffed and stammered a bit (this is a very conservative woman, ladies and gentlemen) then said, well I'll have to talk it over with your father.

I'm gonna be 32 in a week and I still have to get permission??

On a whim last Friday I decided to get my hair cut. I mean CUT! I took off ten inches! It's just above my shoulders and looks really cute (luckily). I've gotten lots of compliments so I guess it suits me.

What a great game! I LOVE Super Meat Boy! It's easy at first then harder and harder, and then when you solve the most basic elements of the game, a whole other mess of crap comes out! It is sucking away my life but I don't care. :)
