New haircut and birthday!!

On a whim last Friday I decided to get my hair cut. I mean CUT! I took off ten inches! It's just above my shoulders and looks really cute (luckily). I've gotten lots of compliments so I guess it suits me.

Friday I got a wonderful surprise... my wonderful boyfriend Matt had me over to his house for dinner and a movie (Toy Story 3!!!) and when it was time for bed, I pulled back the sheets and found a present on my pillow... He had gotten me these beautiful earrings from Brighton for an early birthday present! We had been window shopping about 3 weeks ago and saw them in the store. I remarked how beautiful they were and that I think I'll come back for them some day. He remember the exact pair that I liked and got them for me a couple days ago. What a sweet guy!  :)

To add to a perfectly fantastic weekend, one of my piano students gave a beautiful recital yesterday at her home (she's an adult student) and we got to try lots of really great wines (her husband is a wine expert of some sort). Then Matt and I were playing Super Meat Boy this morning and I finally beat the game! Well, I finished the main story anway, there's plenty more to be done to reach 100%. I'm such an achievement whore; luckily this game lends itself quite well to that. :)

Perfect weather, wonderful boyfriend, and great dinner with my best friend last night (the crazy Hungarian). She met Matt for the first time, and of course gave him a maor stamp of approval. We just bought tickets to go to Colorado for Christmas to meet my parents. Scary. But it's gotten pretty serious pretty quickly and I like it. I can slow it back if I need to but I don't feel like I need to. Everything clicks.
