Well, my original plan was to post the second part of my series on console MMOG's and Red5 Studios. That was before this week happened. After 5 straight nights with less than 5 hours of sleep, I doubt I could write a cohesive, much less comprehensible, conclusion to my previous article on the subject. Like many accomplished authors who have gone before me, I will put aside the pen (or more accurately the keyboard), pour myself a drink (Harpoon Brown Ale in a chilled pint glass) and pontificate on more important matters - FREE SWAG.

Well, I spent another day careening from one job to another, this time through the ice, snow and rain that has beset upon us here in Boston. Several cool things did happen admidst all the chaos today. For one, I came one more step closer today to confirming that I will be coordinating a huge event in conjunction with my primary job I can't post any details (trying to maintain a separation between my professional and recreational personas), but I can say that this event will be held at a major, landmark venue if everything comes together. Very exciting stuff for me personally.

Who knew that taking on the role of Community Manager here at 2old2play would result in so many opportunities (and responsibilities) in such a short period of time? Having spent the last four years working as an Outreach Specialist for a major retail outlet (it has recently come to my attention that maintaining separation between my work life and my online personality is a wise choice) I have quite a bit of experience with organizing events and coordinating multiple partners working to reach common goals.

Who knew that taking on the role of Community Manager here at 2old2play would result in so many opportunities (and responsibilities) in such a short period of time? I want to give a huge "THANK YOU" to all the 2old2play members that have started to follow my ramblings. I know that my Twitter traffic is a bit heavy right now, but bear with me. It will become more consistent (and hopefully less burdensome) as I continue to build a following. My goal is to reach as many people as I can to get the word out about 2old2play.

Wow, it has been less than a week since I took on the responsibilities of Community Manager here at 2old2play and so much has happened that I wanted to give everyone an update. I will also post the conclusion to my article on Red 5 Studios and the future of MMOG’s later today. However, let’s catch up on what is going on in the world of 2old2play first.
