I finally broke down and joined facebook at the request of my girlfriend and other friends. And what thanks do I get for my efforts, multiple reminders that I am getting old and that I used to have hair. Why must these people torture me with pics from my youth?

Well, I hate to be a Blog whore, but apparently today is a day for such things (though technically I am wrapping up this blog post on the 26th at 1:25 am), particularly since Santa decided to take my 360 and leave in its place a big white lump of coal - better known as a RROD 360 doorstop. Well, after whining about my ill fortune, I decided to focus on dinner and made my little lady some Christmas dinner. The menu for the evening consisted of the following:

So we just opened our presents and I wanted to post about a little gift that my girl got me. She has been watching play Left 4 Dead quite a bit recently and then came across this book.

Earlier today I was in a bit of a funk, feeling that people in general have been using the economy and life in general as an excuse to be jerks to one another. I work two jobs, both retail-related, and interact with John Q. Public on a daily basis. Over the past month, many of these interactions have left me drained and with little faith in my fellow human beings. It is as if people have decided that everyone else is fair game for catching crap brought up by the stresses of the season, the economy and the world in general.

Earlier today I was in a bit of a funk, feeling that people in general have been using the economy and life in general as an excuse to be jerks to one another. I work two jobs, both retail-related, and interact with John Q. Public on a daily basis. Over the past month, many of these interactions have left me drained and with little faith in my fellow human beings. It is as if people have decided that everyone else is fair game for catching crap brought up by the stresses of the season, the economy and the world in general.

I am sure someone else has already posted this in their blog, but I just came across it and it is simply too good not to re-post.
