Thanks!! Getting better every day. Had home health care in for 6 days and have been on my own since. I am gaining more and more flexibility each day -- physical therapy, while excruciating is definitely working. My physical therapist gets perverse pleasure in stretching out my quads. I had been using Uber to get around but have gained enough flexibility and reaction time to drive myself now (out and about today). I still have a ways to go -- another 6 to 8 weeks of PT -- before I can get back out on the golf course but I see progress every day and that is great.
Progress is what it's all about Achy. I'm glad you are doing well.
I finally go my cast off last week and I'm making slow progress in getting the strength and flexibility back in my ankle. A slow process, to be sure, but it's getting better every day.
Quick update. Able to drive myself around has allowed me to get out and about more. Thank goodness. Cabin fever was definitely kicking in. Can chip and putt now, but playing a round of golf is still 2 months off. Swelling is gone and flexibility getting much better. Can....almost....tie.....my....right...shoe now. PT is now in the strengthening phase for hips and legs. Doing 3 different types of full squats now for example -- talk about rubbery legs!
There is a Star Trek marathon on the SCI FI channel today celebrating the 50th anniversary of the TV show. I am watching the queen of the Borg episode now. Oh wow, she is putting the moves on Data as I write

The reno is completed and my sparse hair remains. 12 windows, 3 doors, rain gutters, siding and insulation. It was like living in a fish bowl with people knocking on the glass.
After just buying the main game for $5, was pretty shocking to get all the DLCs free a couple days later! EA sure has an interesting way of handing the Battlefield franchise.
By the way, this link says that the free BF4 DLC promotion ends on Sept 19.
I think everyone has just been fluttering in and out of here over the course of the summer. I know I have. Need to go catch up on all the "Still Got Game" episodes I've missed.
I 'member too Shadow. Not been around myself for an age...Busy in other places, other stuff taking my time and not gamed in I don't know how long. Been focusing far more on music and therein lays a tale...Not sure if I posted about it here but couple of months back I had a call from an acquaintance asking if I could do a friend of his a favour and help him record an Irish song reggae style. The favour of course being there was no money involved, the curse of the world of music. Well being a decent sort of fellow I agreed to help out. Turned out he couldn't play anything so It was far more work than I thought. But!...He put up a cheap vid of him singing an early version of the song that has got now...334,000 views and attracted the attention of an LA producer and distributor. He is flying over this month to work with us here.
So yeah...Could be something or nothing. Keeping fingers crossed that just maybe this favour will return some shekels down the line.

Young mate of mine...I say young, married two kids and mid thirties...Asked me the other week how old I was, after a quick mental calculation (It ceases to matter as I'm sure you know) I told him. He looked at me askance and just said no, no your not...Sigh you know your pushing on when people refuse to accept you have pushed on quite that much.

I cobbled together a double computer desk last weekend for the son/daughter n law.
Dice has opened up all the DLC for BF4 until Battlefield 1 comes out. I know a few of us have picked it up recently
