Parcells...Thank You So Much for allowing me to cheat a little with the Honda last night...The first car I had last place rapped up in all races...Moral Was Low...I was questioning My Skills and Thinking Retirement.....Then Thanks to You..You allowed me to win a couple races in the 2nd Car to build moral back up...I appreciate the way you look out for Old Timers like Myself...I appreciate the Respect!...Sincere Thanks
In honor of the US Thanksgiving I’m issuing an executive order this week in the form of we are running only one car and since only one car I don’t see the need to nominate any tracks as we’ll get to most. Drove this beauty on Saturday and it’s a dream. There will be some very close battles.
Here's a topic that came up at one point: NASCAR Racing 2003. The very first "NASCAR Racing" game is actually how I entered into sim-racing as a hobby. There's a large community of followers who still keep these two games alive with plenty of mods and add-ons. For me the game actually looks/sounds better now than when it did 12 years ago because my current PC has so much more horsepower than my old one did.
If any of you are interested in NR 2003 then here's a guide to get you started. There's a comment section at the bottom of the page. Look for this guy's post if you are having trouble finding what you need: [–]HikerAdam1 point 7 months ago The post right beneath his is exactly what you may need (it worked fine for me.) And, yes, this game can still be raced online and there are apparently still some existing leagues out there.
I also still play around with Grand Prix Legends, so if any one needs help with that game I have plenty of web links which I can share. However, you'll have to look hard to find a used copy of this game.
Hey guys, what up? Hope all the US guys had a good Thanksgiving and the Canadians had a good week.
Just a status report from me. Health has improved 98% and feeling good....finally. I have come to conclusion that I just don't like Gran Turismo 6 and have not played in awhile now. Going to put my wheel away and wait till I can get a Xbone and Forza. See ya on the flip side.

WHATTTTTTTTTF???
P(arcell).S....Jimmy...Better Check Your Mental Health...From what I seen you can handle it!...lol...Sad to See The Jimmy Go!!!
So does this mean we're all going to have to exit and get oil changes each time we switch cars? At this point I dont know which cars have had oil changes and which havent.

Jason...I hope you are not implying that Parcells will only pick cars that he knows he has a oil change with!!....You ought to know that Parcells is Fair and Square!!....Looking forward to getting back to Thursday Nights barring any surprises in life that have plagued me the last couple of months!
10 second stop and go penalties will be issued to anyone not playing nice and a 5 point penalty against your overall series points will be administered to anyone giving Parcells a hard time!
Al, that racing at Monaco was some of the hottest online racing I've ever experienced anywhere. We went side-by-side from the S/F line all the way down to the chicane, a pretty amazing feat. I hate being in front in situations like that because it's hard to not look into your mirrors and only focus on your braking marks. I had one chance to catch you when you smacked the wall before the tunnel on the final lap, but I smacked it too so it didnt matter. Hell of a race.

Wholly crap Jason, ain’t that the truth, by far the funnest race of the night no question about it!
20-30 feet behind you the first 5 laps just waiting for you to crack but you wouldn’t crack then I started that pass coming out of the final turn and it took about 7 turns to complete it, running side by side on Monaco no less, totally insane!!!...3-4 turns into the pass I’m wondering “why the hell can’t I see him in my mirror yet??...the bastards still right next to me, guess I better leave some room.” but when we were approaching the hairpin I figured surely this has to end now and it did but what a rush. Awesome stuff!!!
Parcells...Had a Great Time last night getting back to Thursday Nights...The race at Monaco I started to glide straight at the corners when I looked down and my front tires were worn-out. Surprised me plus and I had a couple things to do late night so I jumped out. See you next week if no surprises arise.
Seems we have only next week (Dec 18) before we’re forced to take a two week hiatus for Festivus and new Years. Parcells has some cars lined up but if anyone wants to drive their favorite car you have a week or so to get it scheduled into the last races of 2014. Theoretically I could race Christmas night but there’s no way I’m going to and New Years night we get to watch the inaugural college playoffs, can’t wait.
Also the first week back we’ll be driving one car only and its our first 1Mil+ car in over a year so no reason not to have it but if you don’t, too bad, you can drive something else. The car is the 1985 Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 Rally car and we’ll be running a minimum of one dirt and one snow track.
Warning: Anyone low on credits may wish to start running some seasonals...sometime in March we will be running the 1.2 Million Opel Calibra Touring car.
January 22, 2015:
Car 1 – Mazda MX-5 Miata 1800 RS (ND, J) - 2004 - sport hard
Tracks:
vote
Madrid Mini - REV
Autumn Ring
Car 2 – Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 Touring car - race hard
It couldn't be the cars because they're awesome. I knew of a couple people that wouldn't be making it including a strong regular but didn't foresee the lowest level turnout on a Thursday night in the best part of a year if ever.
Regardless the four of us that did show up had a great time. So much so that we're racing the same cars again so those that missed it don't lose out on this awesome line-up. We didn't even get around to driving the touring car the Miata was such a blast.
See you Thursday.

The fans have spoken and having reviewed each entry on its merits vs. Parcells own interests the final cars to complete the 2014 season are listed below. Both these cars have delivered some fantastic racing including this gem of a race below courtesy of Brnt Enterprises. Because that race was so amazing this Thursday we are doing the same track but in reverse.
These cars will be awesome! Do yourself a favor and make every effort to race the last 2014 run. I know we can reach 10+ its just a matter of of will we?
I'll definitely fill in "some" tracks before Thursday but in the same theme of fan favorite cars if anyone has a specific track(s) they'd like to run either car on let me know and I'll update the tracks accordingly before Thursday.
Car 1 – Honda Integra Type R (DCS) Touring Car - 2004 - race hard
If anything today's Monday taught me it’s that the proverbial party is over and its back to reality. Hope everyone had a great Holiday.
On the bright side we can get back to some quality-like racing as we start back up for 2015.
As previously mentioned this Thursday we will run one car only, the 1985 Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 Rally car. I may add some predetermined tracks (or you can suggest) but we are definitely running one snow and one dirt track…thinking long versions of both.
I seem to recall liking race medium tyres over hard when testing this car long ago so be forewarned we "may" be running race medium vs. race hard.
Parcells...Don't put me on the Crybaby List but any chance of what Tracks?....I know a lot of you been around way longer than me and know the tracks well but for Rookies like me I need a couple of laps just to refamiliarlize myself or maybe be the first time on that track.
Not sure what to make of the post above this one...seems like an awful lot of bullshit for one man to conjure up in a single post eh?
errr, glad you liked the car Wheels???
Parcells....I Did...Thanks for the Pick!!
P.(arcell)S....The Car Was OUTSTANDING!!!!!
P.(arcell)S.S. If Anyone Need Quick Credits Take The S2000 to Deep Forest on Seasonal...Quick $240,000 With 5X Sign Ins!
I only race gt6 with you guys. I'm down to about 1 million. Thoughs high price cars will only eliminate me from racing with you.
Wish I Could Gift You Some Cars....But Until Then I Am Willing To Run Whatever You Can!
Parcells...Be Back This Week...What's Up For Car and Tracks?
Rumor has it, someone picked up a new PS3 last night.
Sherb...If it might be you congratulations...Hope to see you Thursday Night...Thing are looking great for me to join you!

Great racing the other night - awesome car!

Yeah, so about tomorrow night's cars...how about we just wing it?
Let's just agree on a car that we all have (or close) and run some laps.
In the interim, if anyone has a vehicle they'd like to run, feel free to offer it up.
So does this mean we're all going to have to exit and get oil changes each time we switch cars? At this point I dont know which cars have had oil changes and which havent.

I'm sure we wont be switching too many cars and I wont be leaving the room so if I'm underpowered so be it.
You don't need to do anything you're not entirely comfortable with
10 second stop and go penalties will be issued to anyone not playing nice and a 5 point penalty against your overall series points will be administered to anyone giving Parcells a hard time!
