Can you erase previous runs of your own that are already posted to the Leaderboards?
Might it be more fun to post certain cars that are not allowed? This might prevent everyone from running the same car.

You should be able to beat any time you've already posted, but in case you can't I would assume the honor system would come into effect. Tourni would have the final say on how that's actually dealt with.

No no, this is a leadboard attack, you can use any car you wish as the aim is to get the highest you possibly can on the lb. If you've already done a time then put that in and try and better it :)
The car is there to give newbies an idea of what to drive. I've sent the first edition of the tune out to some people, feel free to pass it about like an STI :D
I would love to do that, honestly it would be mental. But Forza doesn't have a multi class LB (like fastest FWD or RWD) Even if they allowed a sortable personal LB... IE friends times in current car..

Consider me entered. When does the 1st event end? Work is a douzy for me and my quitting time is very random. Anywhere from 3-4pm until 3-4am the next morning so this event is kinda up my ally.
Well, run a lotus around on either the leaderboard mode or online racing. Take the fastest time you did on the lb and type it into the sheet next to your name :)
Compare it with others and ask away.
I've done enough so that you should be able to pick my ghost and race against it in the same car now, that is only available in LB mode though :)

How long do we have to get the final time turned in for Laguina Seca?
Although there is still a bit more I can get out of her, I posted a 1:39.408 in the Lotus using my own tune. Still left time on the track and should be able to get it down into the high 1:38's during the course of the week.
Updated the spreadsheet with my current best time of 1:42.306 but that was in the stock 2009 Challenger from last month's rivals. Will slap an Elise tune together and see if I can better my time.
I'll change it every month, i need to figure out a way to get the next track picked. Ideally i'd like a system fo a member to be able to pick some thing :)
I'll try and send more tunes out tonight, can those who do have them share them with anyone that requests them on here :)
Right, the next track pick will be Randomly generated on the 25/05. (small formulae under the TA2 heading that takes the participants from the previous round and picks one)
I'll open the sheet on the 25 and save the value.. Should be fun for people to pick some thing they want to run. I'll update the OP with the limitations of what can be picked! :D

I was on a flyer well up on my best time and I just cut the last corner a bit to much and dirtied the lap. It finished as a 1.36.599 I cursed so loudly the neighbours probably thought I had seriously injured myself. I will keep trying, I hate you Tourni this may turn me into a nervous wreck.

I was on a flyer well up on my best time and I just cut the last corner a bit to much and dirtied the lap. It finished as a 1.36.599 I cursed so loudly the neighbours probably thought I had seriously injured myself. I will keep trying, I hate you Tourni this may turn me into a nervous wreck.
This is the name of the game! it has its highs and lows when trying to set on your limits. You end up looking for every tenth that you can make up, only to go and screw it up on the next corner.
However, with that you'll start noticing your consistency increasing massively. The time you set at first is now your avg lap time and every so often you dip into times that make you go WTF.
A 1.36.599 is very quick Fitzy, certainly faster than i expected you to be at this point. Nice going, i'm keen to see just how far you push this :D

We will probably improve it as time goes, but neither of us are consistently fast enough to do it yet. That is a nice time though Fitzy, I do expect to see you down in the 35's though :)
The regular leaderboards ARE time attack leaderboards. You can just launch your hotlapping session directly from the leaderboard.
Build or aquire an Lotus Elise '05, and have at it.

Will do, i'd suggest not changing the tune unless you know what you are doing :)
It will be set up to take the corners in the way that you see them on the lb, (bounce accross curbs and such)

Ok I calmed down and did a few more, posted a clean 1.36.578 definite room to improve. Very nice tune by the. way.

Are you running against my ghost?
So the current restictions are B class and Laguna?
BTW, some foo named Tourni6 is up at #80 atm...
Online will not show me what my LB time currently is, just the top 100, yay T-10...
