It's an online game selling site...well it's more that that it download, installs and takes care of your updates as well. They often have sales and you can pick up even some recent games very cheap, for example I just got LA Noir for €7.99. and one PC racing title for 87cents. Yes it will work in Gemany
I will post up a pic of my rig as soon as I clean up the jungle constructed of wires and cords. I had everything nice and clean until I took my xbox over to the in-laws. That just fucked everything up. But to describe my rig in words for now. No wheel, no pedals, Lazy Boy recliner, Controller, 37" 1080p HDTV, Turtle Beaches in the bedroom. Living room is just my 55" HDTV that I use when the wife decides to sleep in. I can tell you that a 55" TV is great to use when painting a car. Makes every detail that much bigger. Pics soon.
Well, my new GT2, Clubsport pedals, and Rennsport stand arrived a day early - yeah! I set it up last night, ran for about 1/2 hour and wham - heard a pop inside the wheel housing and felt it through the wheel. After that, the wheel would not steer to the left. Things got worse from there. I sent an email to Fanatec and received a prompt response asking for a video of the problem so they could determine whether to send a replacement part or swap wheels. I made a video and sent it off this morning, but that was late afternoon in Germany.
I was very impressed with Fanatec customer service during the order process, as they processed and shipped everything same day (Christmas Eve). I've read from others that they have been very responsive with problem resolution, here's hoping I get this resolved or swapped out quickly.
I did get enough time with the Clubsport pedals to appreciate how good they really are; they are every bit as good as others have said.
That's a shame clletti I had my csr for about 2 weeks before I had a fault sent a video and had a new wheel in about a week same when my shifter broke very good and quick turnaround hope they sort u out quickly
Wait.. You had a fanatec for a year and don't use it!
Almost two years its just been sitting. I did hook it up and run a few laps with it, but the pedals didn't fit under my desk/wheel setup. That and it didn't feel like my MS wheel.....weird huh? (maybe I'll try it out today for shits and giggles)
If anyone else has a wheel and pedals that they don't use and just sits and collects dust, I'll be more than happy to take it off your hands.......I accept donations.
I still got a way to go but the whole the wood framing and the wheel mount cost me 20 bucks. 2x4 framing and a few screws. Just gotta add some support to stiffen it up. i am thinking about an inverted pedal set-up for the future. Oh, and a cup holder.

Im hoping to move to a tripple 27" monitor setup for the PC soon. The monitors I am looking at have dual HDMI so I can use the center for the xbox still. Here is the screen im looking at...

bad pic but you get the point of how thin the bezels are (11mm per edge)...
Snappy, try raising the back side of the pedal cluster up 2-3". It brings the pedals a little more vertical and feels more "natural" when you are seated low like that. You may find you need to move the pedals out a touch to get a comfortable stretch of the leg. This pic isn't the greatest, but you can kinda see how my pedals are inclined a bit (far side elevated).
Sherb, I tried putting them on the 2x4 on the end but that was too high. I'll have to use one of my scraps. I better do it soon before I get used to the current position they are in. BTW, what game is that on your scree.? Nice Porsche 935..
Oh man, Sherb. I think you just started another obsession for me.
Snappy, you not using that awesome rig for PC racing, including rFactor and/or iRacing, is like Pam Anderson deciding not to have sex during her Baywatch days even though she was the hottest woman on the planet.

Well, you are right about that, Lawyer. Only problem is the lack of a Pam Anderson pic in your post.
I just watched some videos on you tube and this has ignited the desire for a brand new PC. That mod must be amazing on triple screen set up. Sherb, how tough are those cars to drive?

You do not need a high end PC to run rFactor, particularly on a single screen. Its a game that was released in 2005 and so the required specs are very low by today's standards. Don't get me wrong, a new PC is always a good thing, its just not a prerequisite to running rFactor.
Sorry about the Pam Anderson pic. I am at work and so my access to pictures of hot women is somewhat limited.
Depends on how hard you push them. Cozy country drive to bite your head off if you poke too hard.
Let's just say you know when boost hits, and it's very aparant you are driving '70s technology. Lot's of grip, but when they let go, you've got to be quick...very quick.
But anywho, enough cluttering up this thread...hit me up on PM, or check out the 2old2race forums here at 2O2P for more insight & bad ideas.
A few more updates to the rig. Added some diagonal supports, the wheel is mounted using the bolts and the clamp (super sturdy), and the pedals are now inclined a bit more like Sherb recomended. I know...I need some wire management. LOL

Don't try taking the high road on someone elses decisions about using a wheel Church. Not after what you did, we remember
We never forget.
Nope, never.

I go tired of having the center post of the RennSport Stand between my legs so I did this today:

Looks excellent Snappy.
Great job snappy.

Sweet setups lads!

It's the DRM mod for rFactor.
It's freaking mental.

You'd be in trouble then if you spent too much time on our forums. We've got lots going on now.
If you need anything, feel free to hit me up.

Wire management? You think?!!! Lmao, been there. Hey it all works, right!
Cut him some slack guys, he is still doing the build. Cable management can wait while he attends to the big issues, such as where is the cup holder?
/\
this is vital.
