OK, so a little about me...I'm married with one daughter away in college. I started gaming way back with the Commodore 64 and haven't stopped gaming yet. I'm now almost 46 and still love to play video games and take long walks on the beach...oops wrong website!
I got into racing games with Forza 3 and really enjoyed it despite the massive T10 blunders and total lack of attention to serious game issues (4wd, bugs and so on), the lack of tracks quickly bored me to death so I got a Playstation 3 and GT5, this was my first PS3/GT game and it was a disaster, what a fricking mess. After a few months of frustration and my account hacked I sold the PS3 and GT5 and will never go back. Don't get me started I could go on for days on this!
So back to the advertizing filled Xbox...the release of Forza 4 gave me some hope but was short lived as still we have almost the same old tracks and T10's short sightedness. Granted the game in general is a little bit better with more lipstick, makeup and DLC but the core is the same as Forza 3, the car handling in Forza 4 is more realistic and for that they get a plus.
So now and with no other options I am just now starting to get into the spirit of racing in Forza 4 as I finally found a great place to meet and race people of my age and mindset with respect for fellow drivers and a friendly environment. I have to take my hat off to Cotter for making it very easy and fun to join and right away get into the racing scene even though I am very rusty at it and only now starting to figure out the tuning in Forza 4, still a long way to go but looking forward to learning more and racing you guys on the old tracks.
Glad you found your way here Prawny. I think you'll find that the group definitely enhances one's Forza experience. Just shout if you ever need anything.
I've enjoyed playing driving games for quite a few years now (starting with Lombard RAC Rally and Geoff Crammond's Grand Prix on my Amiga - not forgetting Indianapolis 500!). Have tried many times on Xbox360 and PS3 to race online, but always get tired of the rammers and fish-tailers. A Google search led me to this place, it sounds great :). I also sometimes play GT Legends on the PC - via Altbierbude.
I'm not very good, but am happy racing at the back of the field. I'm presuming someone reads this and invites me to the car club on the XBox? My username is LMS2P.
Best thing to do is have a look around on here for a day or 2 then if your unsure about anything just ask somewhere and someone will help you out chap.
I am Will. I enjoy racing, women, TV/Movies and working, and not necessarily in that order. I am an engineer/consultant by trade. I have been playing on XBL since it first began (going on nearly 10 years now). I like to play to have fun, and enjoy Tag, Drifting and Multi-Class racing the most on FM4. It is nice to see such a large community in mature Forza players, since I have been searching for some time for something like this. I also enjoy alot of other genres as well such as shooters, RPGs, platformers, etc... I am planning on getting F1 2012 and Forza Horizon this year. If I have not recieved the invite already, I will shoot one of the FOF list a FR tonight.
A little extra tidbit of info, I attended the Rolex 24 at Daytona this year, and thought is was fantastic. I also regularly "Test Drive" various makes and models of cars for fun. I have driven things from Trucks (Ford F Series, Chevy/GMC Series, Dodge Ram series, Toyota Series, Nissan Series, etc..) to Hybrids (Honda CR-Z) to Tuners (Subaru Impreza WRX STi, Dodge Neon SRT4, and more) to Muscle Cars (Chevy Camaro, Ford Mustang, Dodge Challenger, and more) to higher end sports cars (Chevy Corvette, Porsche 911, Shelby GT500, Lotus Elise, Cadillac CTS-V, and more) to Race Cars (NASCAR Stock Car, Formula F2000 Race Car, and more). My current personal vehicles are a 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX TR (Soon to be Stage 2 and moderate suspension upgrades) and a 1993 F-250 Diesel (Daily Beater). I am not really biased towards any type of car out there.
I am looking forward to playing with a number of you in the forza series, as well as other games out there.

HELLO AND GOOD MORNING! took off work today , thought i'd introduce myself, since i have some time to spare! My nickname is evercooljohn , band mates started calling me this about 1984! Goosh, how time flies when you're not paying attention! My gt is EVERCOOL56, i have been a forzanatic since F3...but only on line since oct with f4...In the real world ,i manage a denture lab in eastern n.c. for 16 years! Have been a musician for so long i can't bare to remember! Made first dollar at age 14, now days i write,record in my studio at home and play a few gigs a year with the "gang"...but back to forza... About 6 months ago , my wife,ROSIERACER61, and i got feed up with the lobbies due to the name calling etc, came to a head when a punk (who i won't mention here) cursed her out ,calling her names my mom would have buried me for speaking... over her basically being in his way! She was on her line and he wanted to pass and couldn't...anyway to make story short, they got into an exchange that unsettled rose to the core! She held her ground and kept her cool,refraining from insulting the guy,but he would not let up,using B word in every shape and form, promising to locate her and take her out...Rosie suffered a slight stroke during her sleep that night...took a couple of months to get back on forza for her...but great end to story, she is back and doing great and lucky no damage!, But we only do rivals and compete with leaderboards now! Recently, m3rocket and i spoke and he turned me on to this site! I've been reading and checking out the overall mind set of members and i have to say, this is a great place to be! Wife and i are in our 50's but have many good times ahead, and will be young for a few more years! I've also found peace within by slinging paints and selling a car or 2 in ah... We are not top of leader boards but we do get in top percents, which is ok with us! We compete with each other a lot , trying to best one another's scores and times! It's sad but true, only disc in box since oct has been forza...we are awaiting our pre order horizon and looking forward to many good times there as well...My hat is tipped to you guys and will be checking out forums etc ...Race on for there is no finish line! respectively,EVERCOOL56

New to this whole 360 experience so stumbling around a bit with the online side of things, Gamertag is NumptyHeed. Live in the UK, 43 with 2 kids to fight off before I can get my hands on the console, so after work (4am when it's all quiet) is when I can get to spend an uninterrupted hour trying to rid myself of driving aids.

thanks guys! rosie enjoyed the laps recently, unfortunately when she got invite we were running drift challange for an hour or so prior(the drifting thing really messes with my head when changing back to lapping! lol!) and we did not have tunes for lobby in r3...i'm searching for a few now and have a couple of cars ready for her to explode on the track with! lol! but still she had great time meeting all...i'll catch up with ya soon and i'm looking forward to eating dust! ...untill i get my game back on that is! lol! kidding, from what i saw ,i'll be eating dust for some time! but send invite sometime, i'm on box daily, although i power up in stealth mode usually as i paint a lot and try to be under the radar during those times...whoops! gotta get to work! great day everyone....
