If I understand correctly (and I'm not sure that I do), I need an invitation to join the 2O4F club in the game? Gamer tag is also crleo.
Can anyone direct me to a topic that explains how the club racing is managed in the game? I've been racing Forza3/4 for a while, but never joined a club before. I guess I'll figure it out eventually, but an overview to help get started would be awesome. Is it self-explanatory after I join the club?

At the top of our forum here, you'll see 2 sub-forums. One is titled, Racing events & series, the other is tuning painting & racecraft. If you go to the series & events forum, yyou'll see thread for all the different events going on now. There's also a thread in that forum with a link to an event calendar.If you click on any event on the calendar, it will give you a link to that event's thread here. Most events have a sign up sheet link. All you need to do is sign up & be online whenever the event is happening & the host/hosts will make sure you're invited.
Club inivtes are screwed up in game . I"ll send an inite from my club division. If you can't get in, then I'll have one of my other club divisions try to add you.

Check out the Pro-Am series on thursdays and Kochino's Tues night races. Both run at around 10/10:30pm EST with practices starting at around 9. Everyone runs the same car and handicaps are placed on the faster guys so that there is some really good tight racing, and they're both usually around 30 minute races as well.
Glad to see you made it over here Duqe. Once you get going over here and get some friends on your list from the Euro division you'll wonder how you ever played this game before 2O4F. Of course you're always welcome to an events that us North American guys run too, so if you see me in a lobby, feel free to jump in.
Be sure to check out and partcipate in the tuning discussions as well. 2O4F encompasses several clubs that house some of the best tuners in the game, and most of the guys are willing to help test run or offer advice on tuning if you need some help.
Im a 42 year old machinist from Arkansas. I'm not exactly new to to racing games, but judging by my performance, I may as well be. I have the dubiously enviable ability to run approximately 20 sec. behind the top 10 on the leaderboards. There are exceptions to my skills, such as the Nurburgring, where I run 2 min. or more behind but it still makes me wonder.
All kidding aside, I have avoided lobbies due to the fact that I'm sure i will get viciously pummeled by better racers and I like the idea of you guys grouping not-so-good racers with others in their class to avoid me getting my delicate feelings hurt. ;)

For new members looking to get their feet wet, keep an eye out for JCotters US spec series and the EURO spec series. These events are really tailored to new people and learning.

Aslo, we've got some great tuners around here. If you ever need a tune, don't hesitate to post up 7 ask for it. Nine times out of ten, someone will have what youre looking for. If not, someone can get it set up for you in rather short order.

I'm not an instructor, and can't tune for crap, but I do like to race and can usually spruce up that drab faded paint job on the clunker out in the yard.
