uummm.  I have two cars for the lotus series and a 5-6 cars for the ring in different classes (which are very clearly marked which track they are for) that I stated could be removed if not up to standards.  As for this being "Prebuilts/Grim's garage" I have not removed a single car that someone has placed in the garage so Im no sure how this became my garage?

That said, I have no problem removing them if it will free up space

Sorry I mentioned your name them Grim....This was just an observation......I dont have a dog in the hunt

I have two future series cars and a soccer car. That's it.

I removed everything else well before you posted that.

And I haven't and can't remove cars either. (except my own)

We still need to settle on an effective way to screen and manage these cars. Still a work in progress at the moment...

I drove your cars when in D2NR and they were usually pretty good. The cars you added were good cars and based on the stats seem to be built properly.

THAT is what the cars in the garage should be IMO. Nothing wrong with sharing cars outside of series cars IMO unless they are junk.

Serenity...

So, the more active you are the more cars you can put in? Just restating what i read, paraphrasing?

I dunno.

I know Jones has a penchant for tuning obscure overweight antiques that end up running surprisingly well for the crap he starts out with...

The first thing to consider, AFTER series cars, is that everyone has their own opinion of what's good, cool, neat, cutting edge, dare I say it, fun. And all that is required for all of this here that is 2o4f to work, is to realize, and maybe consider, someone else might have a different point of view. That's it. that's the secret, that is the miracle answer to everything. (patent pending). This also applies to anyone taking it upon themselves to decide whats good and whats crap, and granted, crap is usually pretty easy to see, but...

As mentioned before, I have no dog in the race, and be sure, I'm NOT trying to wind anyone up, cept maybe Jones, just take a second, and consider someone else might not be looking at something like you do. And then pull someone aside and ask a few questions. It's always better to look before you speak (patent pending 2).

I have maybe 8 cars in the Euro paddock and that's probably too many, but I do limit myself to 8 max, usually 6, and if I see one that NO ONES driving, it gets canned, by me. I don't think we're anywhere near our limit though and I DO figure if I get out of hand Gizzy or Church will say something, or worse case remove stuff, but saying something should be the first step.

Treat people in here like they're in your living room, and act accordingly. Don't let "internet manners" get the better of you.

So filling the garage with production based cars tuned to the middle of R3, or bottom end of R2 is a good car? An S-class car that has a handling rating of 6.0, acceleration of 8.6 and is front wheel drive is a good car? Is fun?

Honestly I'm not sure why I'm even still discussing this. Some simple observation skills, common sense and in-game experience in lobbies, series events and public lobbies should make it extremely easy to figure out what cars are good cars and which ones wouldn't be worth their weight in scrap metal.

I guess what I'm saying is this. Don't voice your opinion as if it were law? Or everyone obviously agrees with you or they're an idiot...

I didn't.

And YES how much you post here and/OR race with us DOES matter.

And people come here to learn and be treated with a tad, just a smidge of respect.

Now, if they are proud of something they made, no matter the quality, or their experience level, they might wanna share it. Doesn't mean its any good, and that's when you'd talk to them on the side and go hey,I drove that "whatever" and it a bit "whatever", do you want me to look at it, or "whatever".

Not, it's crap it shouldn't exist and by the way you don't post or race enough with us so piss off.

Just my opinion...

You, in my opinion, come on atad strong and voice things like its common snse and everyone should totally agree, and sometimes someone might not, but I swear, that seems to never occur to you. At least thats the way it reads.

Your tuning "contect" as example. I'llpost a car, you guys throw up your tunes and I'll drive them and decide whats good and wins...umm, yeah sure, and walks away....

And thats not a quote, but thats how it comes across to me, and I'm sure it comes across diffently elsewhere, but a contest with one judge to me isn't a contest.

You want a tuning contest, pick a car, and let everyone vote on the entries that are, I dunno, IN THE GARAGE, and total up the votes or something.

Now, I did my best NOT to make this a directly at you conversation, but that's out the door. Please try to realize, I'm not inthe mood, or remotely wanting to piss off anyone, you included, but that's where this seems to be headed...

Just try, try to consider that even other points of view exist...and if you do,you'll start to see them, they're everywhere, and once in a while, they're pretty good.

And you come across as someone who is contstantly stirring up shit in every other post on this forum. It's getting to be a pretty damn old routine frankly. You jump in and criticize series events and their rules that you never actually race in for starters.

And now this....Are you a part of this garage? Nope. You sure aren't. Did you see the pile of cars that were added by a member that none of us has heard of, seen post here, or raced with EVER? Nope. You sure didn't.

You can think what you want. Sometimes it IS common sense. Anyone who pays attention knows that nobody races front wheel drive cars with 700hp in S class. Not in our pick up lobbies. Not in our series events. Not in public lobbies. Not in series events run by 100's of clubs in the race lounge on Forza.net Why do you suppose that is?

Let me give a quick explanation since you either a. can't seem to grasp it or b. could care less and only want to stir the fucking pot.

It's because they are slow. Slow in a strait line, handle poorly and accelerate poorly. That is a fact. So......maybe the builder thinks its fun. So be it. But it isn't fun to anyone else otherwise other people would actually race them. So then we fill a soot in the garage with it. Again so be it. But it seems fucking retarded to FILL the garage with cars like this.

But since you aren't actually in this garage, didn't see those cars and the purpose for this thread then I guess you really wouldn't know would you?

As for the tuning competition. Yet ANOTHER example if you trying to shit on someone else's idea when you aren't even involved....How about if you aren't involved you keep your nose out of it?

And FIY they actually do tuning competitions like that on forza.net regularly. It's not my idea actually but a way to do something different with members who actually participate outside of stirring up shit and crapping on threads, series events and ideas of other members.

I don't recall seeing anyone suggest that we fill the garage with FF cars that are not optimized to max pi. Here's my deal...I'm going to share whatever fucking car I feel like sharing and I'm not putting any special indicator or paint scheme on it. Use it, don't use, like it or hate it...I really don't give a fuck. What I do care about is club unity, not necessarily garage quality. Most of our tunes and paints are shared so often that a club garage is almost a moot point. However, I would suggest that if we have to have folks playing garage curators that they communicate privately between themselves when making cuts. I suggest this not only because it would cut down on publicly bruised egos, but also because this is annoying the shit out of me.

The only issue was with cars added to the garage that first day.

There are other cars in the garage that I think a better version exists of and yet I didn't have anything to say about it. And I don't have any say in what's in the garage and as far as I know grim and drivebye do not either. We don't delete ANYTHING. EVER.

Nobody suggested the garage be filled with that stuff but someone DID fill it with that stuff. About 25 cars from one user all built several classes about their usefulness.

A few just for fun is different than two dozen wouldn't you think?

Mission accomplished...cheeky

Seriously, if it's someone who came in once, for a week and noone's seen them, it doesn't even warrant a discussion, but if it's one of the guys who 's time frame doesn't let them run with us and happens not to be on the forums much, you might step on some toes. Thats all. An over tuned car three classes above sanity is probably someone with little experience, and that shows immediately.

That said, Max has some stupidly fast FF's, S and higher, so don't go hurting his feelings.

Also, making a blanket statement, actually naming names, and then admitting NOT looking in the garage first, isn't how you make friends and be successful (movie reference).

Serenity....

And if it happened before you, I didn't see it either?

If it doesn't happen in your woods, it doesn't smell?

I've been in YOUR garage, so what? It's no different than anyone elses..

If one person put 25 cars in, then hell yes, delete em, big deal, especially if the guys not here.

But in case  you didn't notice, we don't do things here because thats how they do them at Forza.net or T-10.

In fact we exist becasue we don't do things like they do. Some of us pride ourselves on just that.

As for events. I run them whenreal life doesn't get inthe way,or someone elses opinion and mine don't clash. usually it's the former. Personally I think you don't like my opinion of BMW's...it all went south after that. But you know what, I been here a while, and I'll be here a while, and there's alot of other people, and cars, and opinions.

Think we need to chill a bit in here.

Damn this is like the Off Topic area.

Stop it with the personal attacks on each other. Keep it clean and to talking about the club garage.

One more dick post and the topic gets locked.

Agreed with Church. Everyone needs to just chill here. Our goal here is to come up with a consrutive way to keep some form of order in our club garage. Why has it got to turn into a huge argument? State your opinion & respect the opinions of others. If you can't come up wih a consrucive way to make your point, then don't express yourself. Remember we are all working towards the same goal. This thread is a discussion to help us get there. Not everyone is going to like what we come up with, but you can't make everyone happy all of the time.

Let's just put everyhing out on the table here. I've been trying to figure out how to announce that I will be stepping down as club leader & how to go about selecting the right person to take my place here. I hate that one of my final memories of being the founder of this group would be fond ones. But now I have to deal with petty bullshit like this. Thanks a whole lot guys. I really appreciate it.

As I said, I came in to try and calm Kat and Prebuilt down. Now I couldn't care less. Lock this thread, it's useless.

And Prebuilt, chasing me into PM's won't help a bit so quit.
