In related matters, I downloaded the Android Battlefield Commander app and tried playing commander from my tablet. Guess what happened when I launched the game?
I've been playing today using Internet Explorer 11.whatever it is ( the newest one ), and had no crashes or sound loss in any matches, 48 and 64 player. haven't got into shanghai to confirm it there, but so far it seems like Chrome was the problem.( I use Chrome for everything else and iE exclusively for BF4 ).
That 1 shot kill is frustrating as hell. It's awesome when you have a M249 and the other guy has a PP2000 and you're 200m apart and he gets a lucky headshot and now you're dead. wtf.

Try " doping ", but you need to be a dope to start with
Stability has improved overall. I just need to look at my stats and see my quits (aka CRASHES) are down from 32% to 20%. I switched to IE11 also, but I still crash. Hopefully the next update makes it much more stable. I actually got through an entire round of Shanghai tonight, I know right?!
we muted you because of your last QQ and joined a different server you did something that allowed us to hear your ingame sounds and they were very loud. When you joined our server again we unmuted you but it was still blasting your game sounds and not you. Made it hard to play our game because your game sounds through us off :) we'd never mute your for talking shit, that's too damn fun.
Bought the cheapest Logitech Gaming headset, configured my input settings and Mumble settings, so hopefully you should here my profanity in crystal clear quality.
I don't know what happened to my mic settings, but I got a taste of it myself, and it sounded like voices in a haunted mansion movie, that were taking a bath in a tub full of hub caps !!
It is more stable but the crashes are still there. Shanghai always crashes and Flood Zone seems to crash on map changes. I think I've only crashed twice on the China Rising maps so I stick to playing those maps so I rarely crash.
Maybe I will give it a go again then. I have it on the XB1 as well but I am a little scared to put much time into it on there as everytime I do I lose my save data. As for MP, it's a bit on the dead side.

I use IE from the start, Chrome had too many issues. But I still get sound loss and crahses on IE.

Update - 1 crash last night, when , of course, I was doping quite well. Re joined and it was fine.

Things are improving, got my stubby grip for my Ak5C, that plus the muzzle brake equals LASER BEAMS.
Looks like no PC patch this week for Double XP, but instead DICE are releasing it in conjunction with the China Rising DLC:

Crashed once on Shanghai ( what a surprise ), and once on PAracel, but all in all, much more stable.
It is more stable but the crashes are still there. Shanghai always crashes and Flood Zone seems to crash on map changes. I think I've only crashed twice on the China Rising maps so I stick to playing those maps so I rarely crash.
