I think prizes will be based on contingency awards throughout the series. All of the previously listed DOT tires, Hawk brakes pads, Agent 47 (Mustang parts), and possibly a couple others.
Since this is a series I REALLY like I was thinking about an actual trophy to send to the series winner. Maybe an engraved mug or standard issue plaque or something similar. Unless if course that's too cheesy.
Roof airflow directors to channel more air to the rear wing. Not visible are the front fender vents to reduce air pressure build up in the front wheel well area. Also note the lexan windows to reduce weight.
Stranoparts.com and Agent 47 sponsors. Rear flares to fit the 17x11's and 315/35/17 Hoosiers, and lexan windows visible. Also a nod to the environmentally friendly "race fuel" that it uses in both the turbocharged 2.3L I4, and the N/A 331 pushrod Windsor that it runs (depending on track)
And the huge splitter, and dzus fastened front bumper cover and carbon fiber pin on hood (painted).
Still have not settled on a ride yet...cannot find anything that settles into a turn comfortably enough...I think I've been in the Lexus too much lately.
I am still not sure what to run. Too many cars to choose from. Seems like most are going with the newer cars but i was trying to stick to the old school cars.
Me too but I can't seem to find anything that I'm comfortable on turn in with? Possible exception being the 66 Nova. Others are as quick, but I'm just not comfortable/consistent entering the turns with them.
The Sierra Cosworth was removed from the list. I didn't notice it was still on there until just now, so anyone with that car SORRY. I was going to allow it since it is basically a Merkur XR4Ti, but the AIX rules stipulate a live rear axle with a few exceptions. (The Merkur NOT being one of them)
The GNX I built didn't seem fast but when I compaired times it wasnt that far off the pace.
Yep that's it exactly. I was running mid to low 1:28's at rd Atlanta with the Buick. It has a wierd sound and power and and if you rev it out it loses power severely.
I think that this Thursday we could do a test race then start the following week. I'll update tonight with prize info.

On the race format, I prefer the one race, one pit stop format.
So my AIX car is "mostly" done.

I built a few different cars yesterday, & I am now finding myself torn between the 2000 Mustang, 2005 Mustang, & the 2002 Ram Air T/A.
2006 GTO IS NOW LEGAL!
OK one more then no more pictures of my stupid car.
Last shot with ride height "Adjusted" low enough to decapitate a chipmunk.
Updated prize info, handicap info, car list, and a few other things.
2006 Pontiac GTO is on the list.
Contingency prize info, and manufacturers info updated.
Also I want to make sure everyone reads the information on restarts following a caution.
Also if this ends up being as fun as I think it will be and participation stays high we might recycle some of those tracks to extend the season a bit.
Gunny, if ya gotta brag about it, I doubt it. 'sides, I leave that to my wife...
Really?
This seems to be what I'm going to end up driving...

I havnt tried the 66 Nova, which i really like in A class, as i know you were favouring it and so was Ink
Brnt is running the Nova too.
77 Trans Am, 79 Camaro, 64 Fairlane are all good old cars as well.
I built the 64 Fairlane and the 06 GTO and both are good.
This might be deceided over a coin toss i think

Anyone build a 70 Challenger? 87 Regal GNX Buick? 90 Camaro?
I think one of the real sleepers may be the 78 King Cobra Mustang 2.
The Couger is actually a really good car too Max. Plus any tune you come up with for that I'd like to have for my A600 Couger.
Most of the old cars have a 255 front tire and 305 rear tire. I really wish we could put like a 285 or 295 front tire on those cars!
(BTW that Fairlane fits a 325 rear tire!!!!)
I built a GNx & wasn't very impressed.
Me too...
Me three

2002 T/A is good handler but doesn't seem a powerhouse.
