Finally had a few minutes to run some laps. Set a 1:22.063 in my own tune. Should be able to put some more time into this Sunday night. I know I can get into the 21's. Can someone gift me Tourni's tune?
I'm done on Sedona. There's another .250 in it for me max, but it would require a descent into madness. Ive got Daz and even Si beat occasionally coming into the 2nd hairpin but I can't clear the CS at 90.
Im done with this one. 1:22.823 after an hour of frustration. Im assuming I have the tune that is being used (got it from Stewie). This is just one of those tracks I don't enjoy. On to the next one I guess
Thanks Poids, my previous best lap I nailed the first corner and took the chicane quite well. My new best lap I took the first corner quite well and nailed the chicane, all I have to do is nail both of them and not fuck up in between. Easy.
Posted my VAG 2 time. Because I am brain dead I used a tune from M3Rocket. If this is unacceptable please tell me. I couldn't find a tune on anyones SF from the club and don't want to waste your guys time sending me it. You can just throw it on your SF. But that may be against the spirit of the competition.
Hopped in Cobra's tune and ran a1:21.247. Good car but a bit too twitchy for me to get the most out of it. It did teach me how to approach the final chicane though. SiWhite also gifted me a tune (Thank You!). Looked like the same build but different tuning. It was a little more planted. Taking what I learned before I was able to knock my time down to a 1:20.743. I think I'm done.
For me, exiting turn 1 and getting through the final chicane were the keys to getting a fast lap, but it took almost 30 laps to get it right this evening.
Well, I hadn't touched the books for 6 months or so as i was doing the other course. Getting most of it back though, i only care about the passing of the exam rather that scoring high :)
I will still start the next TAC, i just need to work a bit more on the car. As stated previously, it'll be R3 @ mugello. I've got the mosler running fairly quick, but a challenge to break top 100 here for me. (i suck at R+, and this is one tough track)

Tried at Sedona but nowhere near you top guys ( 1:21.391 ), have spent the last two days choking on the exhaust fumes of your ghost - for the first three corners anyway !
Are we actually running R3 @ Mugello or is there a break atm. Anyway I've sent out my tune for the old R3 ferrari race car (DLC), it's definately capable of a 1.45, I just have to put it all together in a single lap.

Me too grim. Ran about 5-10 laps and called it good enough.
Oddly that chicane everyone hates I usually nail pretty well, and almost never dirty my lap there.

Not sure how much more I can get out of this Vag, but I shaved .6s to surpass my goal @ 1:21.808.

I doubt you will have much trouble beating me, while your at it you can beat my time in the Clio.
