Points are updated through week 5 (Nurburgring GP).
If someone has the finishing positions or replays from last week (week 6 Infineon IRL) please send them over. I thought I had saved the replays from last week but don't see them.
Also a tune is up on my storefront. Frankly I have no idea what a good lap is on this track but I was running low 1:36's with it.

I got the screens saved bud. Will give you the positions over Live if thats ok.
I am going to post a build two builds on my store front. One will be for guys who need a little extra help beyond what the handicaps afford. IF YOU THINK YOU CAN USE THIS, PICK IT UP, TUNE IT AND PLAN TO USE IT. This is an experiment I wanted to try when this series started and it hasn't been used yet. We are running out of time with only 3 or so races left. So PLEASE pick up this car. Everything will be the same except there will be an increase in power.
The other thing I wanted to try for this series was a handicap that included a grip handicap and not power. I would like a fast volunteer to try something similar to this for this race. I may not be fast, but I'm also going to try this for one of the races.
Their won't be a grip handicap because it seems EVERYONE is against them. However this car has HUGE tires for the weight of the car. That is one of the reasons it grips so well. A new build will be posted with STOCK TIRE WIDTH FR/RR. I'll do some testing this week to see how much of a difference it makes but I suspect it will be similar to a 5% power handicap.
I'll also post re-post a Road Atlanta tune on my storefront, so look for that and two other tunes one with a higher PI index (likely very low S class) and one with a lower PI index (The car with stock tire width.
And if you are bored at work and want some race inspiration in these awesome cars check out this video. The awesome action starts at 3:15. This is the 93' Tour De Corse
And with that, and to celebrate the rally heritage of this awesome little car, I'm going to add another race to this series. A 1 race night, on 5/16. 20 laps at Rally di Positano.
This may be a roll off start race with roll offs several seconds apart and the winner based on total time. If we do go that route I'll lower the lap count.
Also, I'm thinking of ideas on a replacement for this time slot when this series is done. I'm thinking of either a multiclass BMW CCA club race type series, or a multiclass 80's and 90's muscle car series. Something similar to AI/AIX. Cars are basically the same, but one is higher HP/WEIGHT ratio (with other possible key differences aero for example)
Hey Prebuilt, cool idea about the increased horsepower. Since I consistently place next to last I think I'm eligible! Normally I don't like 'cheating ' but I'm not learning much driving by myself. If this will help keep me in the pack I can start to learn lines and how to drive with other cars which is a big reason I joined the series. Thanks
Don't forget if you are having problems keeping up with the guys at 15% and you have 0% be sure to go to my storefront and pick up the build that is a low S class. S606 I think it is.
Or simply add the 1st level displacement increase to your current build.
Max and I are going to try a build that is stock non handicapped HP, but uses stock tire width.
So for example if I'm normally at 10% I will be at 5% HP handicap and use the car wtih stock width tires. Max who is normally at 15% will use a 10% handicap with stock width tires.
We are going to do this for one race to see how it works. (This series is almost over but by manipulating the builds to essentially create more levels of handicap we might stumble onto something that may be useful in future series)
This way seems to be a bit less intrusive than a game induced grip handicap. Plus the grip handicap doesn't seem to be very popular anyhow.
Thanks Brnt I'd appreciate that!!!
Glad to hear things are getting better. Missed you around here.
The race replays from last week are on my SF
No need for replays... Drivebye won all the races you missed.
Glad to hear things are getting better too.
*Virtual high five*
Tune for this Thursday's race on my storefront.....
IMO this track emphasises your line/technique more than the tune but it still seemed pretty good to me.
Schedule has the NASCAR circuit (edited op says IRL) sooooooo?
It's my wife's birthday so there's a 50% chance I won't make it. Doh
Edited schedule.
INFINEON IRL.
See Ya'll tomorrow night.
sign me up!
Fitzy was behind you too?
Did you get the plate numbers of those? Cuz they came through here a few nights ago and got both my wife and myself.
Hey Woob, are your race girls available for a shoot? I have a few Team cars I need to do some publicity for.
Im in for tonight!
I think that I can put something together, what are you looking for?
I'll be there
Woot, just got my car built. Now to give it a few runs for tweaking before the qualifying.
Prebuilt are you ever gonna update the points standings?

I tried some laps and couldn't get Bolow 1:38. Something tells me this is more than just the tune.....
like Gunny said, I'm just gonna keep at it.
Sounds good. I appreciate it brnt.
Sorry for not keeping this updated
OK guys the standings are up to date!
