I just realized that I haven't posted a bunch of pictures in a quite a long time, and I looked at the place where I store all of them, and I've lost probably 3 pages worth, which ticks me off.

So, I'll be posting a bunch the next few days to clear out the queue and free up some space.

So, although Facehumper was kind enough to let me borrow his Xbox while he's on vacation, he gets back tomorrow, and my Elite is still sitting on the kitchen table with no coffin to send it in.

I went to Rent-a-Crock on Friday, thinking I would just pony up $60 to rent one of theirs for 2 weeks while waiting.  ($27 + tax a week).

They wanted:

My empolyment history.  No biggy, that's typical.
4-5 references - Seems a bit extreme, but I can use my relatives as (2) of them.

I called back on Friday 12/21 to request a coffin for my Elite. "Oh, this is your third repair?" Yes.... "Well then, I'll make sure that the box is shipped out next-day air and the repaired box shipped back to you next day air." Sweet!

I get home on Wednesday 12/26. No coffin.

Ok, I think to myself... probably just a delay because of the holiday.

Thursday. No Coffin.

Friday. No Coffin.

So I call them today, and they show that the box hasn't even left the repair facility yet. WTF!?!?!?
