Day Care Frustration - Need Advice

It's a common thing for a lot of us here who are parents.  Both parents work and you are forced to send your child to daycare each day.  The daycare we use is part of our church (though the church doesn't run it) and it seemed like the perfect fit for my daughter.

Battlestations Midway

So I went and picked up Battlestations last week after playing the demo with some clanmates.  I've played a bit of the single player and had a blast playing multiplayer last night (though I still have no idea how I got a 0 that one time).

The Dreaded Words

So I am taking a shower this morning (before my clanmates even say it, yes I shower at least once a week) getting ready for another day of work before getting to the weekend.  My wife is getting ready to leave the bedroom when the dreaded words are said, "Do you want to paint the living room this weekend?"

Television Inteferes With My Gaming

Monday nights have begun to stink for me in terms of gaming.  I come home from work and want to blow off some steam with my clanmates but the schedulers of TV have made that a pain for me. 

Let me preface that I have 2 HD DVR's in my home and can easily record and watch a program whenever I want.  The problem is that I seem to have an illness where I feel it is necessary to watch the show shortly after a recording has taken place.

New People and Lunacy

I have to hand it to my clanmates out there.  Our crazy, off-topic threads is exactly what helps me get through each day at work.  While I will never go public with what we discuss, the best description is a bunch of guys (and girl retro!) sitting around a poker table having some drinks and just bullshitting away.  No discussion is immune to our craziness either.  And then when we game at night, it's all about having a good time and playing games for fun!
