The countdown has started for me. 

My business really picks up in mid-November and doesn't die off until mid-January.  Just another month from now, the office will be quiet and the orders will slow down.  Now I still will have a ton of things to do, but the intensity of the season is gone.

So for those of you that have noticed that I'm not posting as much or playing a ton of multi-player, I am still here!  Business has just picked up enough that when I get home I have to continue to work off and on through the evening.

So for those of you that have noticed that I'm not posting as much or playing a ton of multi-player, I am still here!  Business has just picked up enough that when I get home I have to continue to work off and on through the evening. 

The northeast has had some 70 degree days this week and it got me to thinking that before you know it the weather will be getting colder.  Now I'm not one of the fortunate ones living in a warmer climate where a cold day is 50 degrees so these warm days are important. 

When you have a beautiful day in the spring, it is a great thing but you know that you have an entire spring and summer of nice days ahead of you.  Once you get to fall, you start to realize that before you know it the temperature will be dropping.

So after first coming to website a month and half ago, I saw how all of this activity was going on in the Chromehounds section.  Being a new Xbox person I was interested in anything popular so I decided to look up some reviews on it.  As I read through the reviews I was amazed that they weren't all highly rated.  Went back into the boards and still saw all of the posts of squad activity and decided to go out and get it.

Just a brief post and it is actually something that Codemunkee has referenced before. 

Took a break from my weekend work yesterday to sit down and watch the Eagles take on the Giants.  Now being a Philly guy living in CT I don't get an opportunity every week to see them on TV.  I went for DirecTV last year (which would have been heaven) but there are too many trees around to get a good signal.

The weekend is here!  Remember the good old days when the weekend was a time to hang out, relax, and sleep in?  Then comes the wonderful world of home ownership and parenthood.

Now I won't get into the parent side of things, but it is amazing how home ownership just drains your ability to have fun every weekend.  You walk around your home and if you're like me there are just too many projects to try and take on.  From time to time I long for the days of having an apartment where cleaning was really the only chore to do.

This day (or evening actually) three years ago my daughter joined us in this world.  Reflecting back it is amazing how much different life becomes once you have a child.  Ever since the first day there has not been anything that is more of a priority to me.

There is no drug in the world that can match the feeling of joy on your child's face.  So I'm going to take today and do everything possible to make today the best day possible.

Well I've been back from vacation for a few days and am now playing the fun game of catch up.  You get back to work all rested (but still wishing for more time) and walk to your desk and see the piles waiting for your arrival.  Open the email up and see all of the love you had from the past week waiting for help on certain situations.

Well only a few hours to go until vacation.  The wife is home making last minute preparations as I stare at the radar looking at the wall of rain that I will be driving into tonight.

Sitting at work right before a holiday or vacation is such a difficult thing to do.  I'm one of those people that just wants to get in the car and get moving towards my destination.  While working you frantically are trying to finish up things but also start losing focus as you count down the minutes.

I seem to have a knack for attracting tropical storms and hurricanes whenenver I go somewhere on vacation.  Now let me preface that for any complaint I may have here it is NOTHING like living in an area that is hit with one of these storms.  While it can have an effect on my time off, it is nothing in comparison to losing a home or living through something like Katrina.
