 Just finished the main quest for the Dragonborn DLC for Skyrim. I rode a dragon, sucked some ash, got some fancy new blue duds, and a couple of curved swords...curved swords!  I also started a mead hall massacre (one thing led to another...), scored some Dwemer cubes, made some new friends, then killed them, and toted around a shovel the entire game that I never used...that's just the way I roll. I'm pretty sure if I kill the counselor I can claim Raven Rock as my own...we'll see.

 Pearl Harbor was attacked December 7, 1941, decimating most of the US Pacific Fleet and jump starting American enthusiasm for entering the 2nd World War. President Roosevelt met with Winston Churchill and Josef Stalin, who decided to pursue Stalin's plan of taking care of the Nazis first before the USA could have its revenge on Japan. 4 years later we got our revenge, but it seems like America has been fighting ever since.

 Working in a  shipping department has always been a thankless job. The company I work for sends out worldwide e-mails if a sales guy lands a new account or if R&D has developed a new product that will "revolutionize the industry", but the day to day  efforts of the shipping department of any company goes largely unnoticed...until something goes wrong. I work for a company that manufactures golf shafts and we received a new part # for one of our biggest customers: P10360A395TFC189I11, which is almost identical to an existing part #:  P10360A395TFC169I11.

 I just threatened to beat a co-worker to death with his own severed head. Hopefully I'll make more sense after my second cup of coffee.

 Took my wife and my daughter to see Rush at the American Airline Center in Dallas tonight. If you've been to Dallas then you know how truly unkind traffic can be. The concert started at 7:30, which means we caught the tail end of rush hour. The "Platinum Parking" section, where we were designated to park, was labeled as "Audi Park." No, that's not fucking misleading at all...I actually enjoyed circling the arena three times for no good reason.

 Two things happened last week that I had really been looking forward to: the Chicago LAN and the elections. Monday and Tuesday were nailbiters but I enjoyed Wednesday and spent most of my day at work asking my Republican co-workers if there was anything good on tv last night. I do write for a liberal website, but I don't like to mix my gaming with politics unless I can piss people off face to face. Thing really don't start cooking until Thursday...

Thursday: Woke up about 5 am and decided that 5am was real fucking early...went back to bed.

 Been a pretty busy week between the LAN and the elections and Ihaven't had a lot of time to write. But rest assured I have stories to tell, I met some new folks, ate some pizza, and drove a Charger from Texas to Illinois and back, and even played a little Halo 4. I was probably not the ideal representative for the 2Old4Forza at the LAN...but I was all they had since nobody else from the clan showed up. Back to the grind tomorrow...fuck, I hate going to work! One of these days I'm going to be able to make money just typing crazy shit and selling it.

Big Tex burned today during the Texas State Fair, apparently due to an electrical fire. Adios, big homie!
