I was excited for release 3.0 for my PSP to come out for PS1 emulation.  It would work similar to XBLA games where you pay, download and voila you have some old school games.  3.0 came out and while it is slick and has a couple of useful features that I like (FINALLY I can option it to not start a UMD automatically!) it is largely an update to allow integration with the PS3.  Since I will never likely get a PS3, that sort of sucks but hey we can download PS1 games now, right?

This is obvious, and I don’t care how often it is said or how cliché it is but hug and love on your kids like there is no tomorrow…for no reason, every day.

It was a great weekend, I got a lot of schoolwork done and watched both of my teams (Iowa and the Broncos) win which is nice since they are not both usually on TV on the same weekend.  I picked up the Vision camera for the 360; it is pretty damn slick actually.  I am looking forward to some UNO and Hold em’ with you old farts.  Did a video chat with OneEvilBitch and it worked pretty well.  I work in data/telephony so I do a lot of voice over IP and video

I suck, plain and simple.  I always go into buying something with a plan of attack and generally know my limits and what I want.  As previously posted, I was on the prowl for an HD TV and was looking at going the LCD route.  Until last night.
