My Weekend

It was a great weekend, I got a lot of schoolwork done and watched both of my teams (Iowa and the Broncos) win which is nice since they are not both usually on TV on the same weekend.  I picked up the Vision camera for the 360; it is pretty damn slick actually.  I am looking forward to some UNO and Hold em’ with you old farts.  Did a video chat with OneEvilBitch and it worked pretty well.  I work in data/telephony so I do a lot of voice over IP and video conferencing at work and to be honest considering that the Vision is all over the public internet and there is really no quality of service, it was very good.  No lag that I noticed.  It was nice to put a face to the voice, she tried to get Gunz to join her but apparently I am not important enough.

I can see the camera getting out of hand with Timmies but with pals it will be fun, I sent out many pictures of me flipping people off which is always a good time.  I am anxious to see what more people look like, it makes it a little more “real” in the sense that I am so used to hearing you all without having a clue what you look like.  In a weird way, it makes it easier to have actual friends online that you may never actually meet in real life.

The weekend was capped by getting to listen to MikeTheKnife in a drunken rant in Chromehounds.  He had been drinking all day and was in rare form.  Good thing he had not purchased the camera yet because I guarantee an ass or sack shot would have been in all of our inboxes.  Have a great week everyone; if you get the chance pick up the cam…it should make Live a little more fun!
