A couple of things worth mentioning today.

1) I have a new Starcraft 2 machine on the way! yeah. Currently I play on a laptop with low settings etc. On low it is very playable on my machine but underwhelming to be sure. I ordered a new iMac 27" i7 Quad Core w/ 2 gig Radeon 6970m video card. So it's about move from a small laptop screen to a nice big 2560x1440 running the game on Ultra or Extreme graphics settings. Needless to say....very excited :)

2) Blizzard announced a benchmark for promotion (perviously this was very much hidden)

I’ve tried to write this one a couple of times but due to technical errors and my own retardedness I’ve lost what I have typed a number of times.

Skyrim – still good. Still enjoying it. Still fighting to get time on it with my 2 sons. It seems Saturday and Sunday mornings (early) are my best time for this. Which is too bad – it’s also my preferred time to ladder in SC2.

Ok well it won't be very "star-bloggy". I'll just do a little SC2 stuff up front.

Been slowing down with the blogs lately - oops :) aww well. Actually played a lot of SC2 in the last 3 days. Lots of 3v3, 4v4, 2v2 games and about 20 1v1's on my ladder. Had quite a few losses in 1v1 - I think most of the time it is me leaving my pre-game plan and just "winging it" coupled with some really bad mid / late game scouting and a lack of early harrass / attacks on my part. Anyway I think I'm about a 65% win rate in those 20 games. One thing that really helped me was playing against the AI for ~games before hitting the ladder. It helps get my hands and mind warmed up.

Had a lot of fun in SC2 last night.  Did team games with my RL friends - we were 3 Protoss and 1 Zerg (or Terran sometimes) and we would triple cannon rush and have the T or Z for support.  It worked fairly great for most of the night lol and we were totally pissing people off with our cheese.....but damn it was good times lol

Installed a new mod for my Starcraft 2 call Stronger Team Color mod.  It just makes shit a lot A LOT brighter for your team colors.  Makes my observers actually visible to me now lol I lose those things so easily...

YES! played some Starcraft 2 last night.  Did a couple of 1v1's (50/50....fucking cloaked banshee's ruining my life) and then did a couple of 2v2's (placed in silver) and some 3v3's.  In our last 3v3 my buddy who plays random got Terran literally rained down the nukes on these chumps lol  he estimates he launched 15 nukes.  I have watched the replay yet but I know I heard nukes going off all through that match lol we won of course :)  All-in-all a pretty good night - until we had a power failure but we were only going to play one more matche anway.

 Soooo I think Starcraft 2 has ruined gaming for me.

I picked up Dark Souls and really love(d) it.  I loved Demons Souls as well and this was my most anticipated game of this year.  I think I will still put more time into it - but ultimately I stopped playing to play more Starcraft 2.

Been busy (of course) lol haven't played SC in ummm 3 days I think.  Plan to play some ladder games tomorrow.  But here is a great pro-highlight video to keep us going until I can a proper blog going again.  Been playing BF3 (which is mostly good) and working :(  (which is bad) but hopefully start getting back on track tomorrow.
