Well, tomorrow is the last day of kindergarten for my daughter. She will be going into the first grade as a big girl next year. I thought that after she had gone through K-1 it would be easier, but I am not feeling it at the moment. Hmm, summer is about to officially be upon us here in the state of HELL. I enjoy going to the lake and hanging out at the pool, however, this summer will be different. I won't be at home to lay around the pool and just hang out. I guess I will just have to make time for those family fun activities.

Well we have a busy, frantic few days.  I got an email at work from the school nurse at around 9am stating that haley was complaining of chest pain and holding her stomach.  When I got there to pick her up they suggested that she might have kidney stones.  She didn't want to go into the ER so I told her we would go to her granny's hospital.  (Matt's mom is an RN up at Baylor Grapevine).  So we drove to baylor, fully prepared to be there awhile.  I brought some childrens computer games, my laptop, and my MP3 player.  We were seen almost imeediately and the doctor cam in and examined her.  Th

Somebody says it takes 6 weeks to get "back to normal" after you have a baby...

     That somebody doesn't know that once you are a mother "normal" is history.

Somebody said you learn how to be a mother by instinct...

     That somebody never took a three year old shopping.

Somebody said being a mother is boring...

     That somebody never rode in a car driven by a teenager with a driver's permit!

Somebody said that if you are a "good" mother your child will "turn out "good"...
