Week wrap-up

My favorite Easter card. I know it's a tad bit late, but I just now figured how to post pics, so there!

The 360 will get sent back to day, finally.:)

More would you rathers....

Would you rather know it all or have it all?

Would you rather give bad advice or take bad advice?

Would you rather give up your computer or your pet?

Pen pics

West side of the penitentiary;  There is an observation deck I was standing on.

Close up of the front of building.  Notice the razor wire on the bottom left around the fence!

This is the minimum security camp that is just to the west of the "Big top."  The land right in front of use has a herd of buffalo.

Penitentiary visit

I will download my pictures from >>>Leavenworth tomorrow.  I have to admit it was a very interesting visit.  Leavenworth was one of the first three penitentiarys in the US built in the late 1800s.  It housed many notorious criminals from the 20's and 30's.  Bugsy Malone was one of them.  Our guide took us into some of the old cell blocks that are no longer used and we saw the actual cells that housed George Stroud.  It was very interesting to hear Mr.

Spring rite of passage

Each year the land goes through a transformation around this time.  People traveling along the interstate can look into the horizon and see different shades of a haze that hangs over the land.  This shade may be white, brown or greenish-brown depending on the distance they may be from the event.  Depending on the direction of their travel they may already see evidence of the event.  A blackened earth with areas of green or trees can be seen for miles.  The closer one travels the event becomes more evident.  FIRE.

What to say?

It's Monday.

I spent all weekend perched at my computer working on one project or another for classes.  Three more weeks of class and I'm free, for awhile to play.  I still haven't gotten the MS coffin to send my 360 back for repairs.  Again, I suppose this is a good thing so I concentrate on finishing with good grades.  Still sucks the big one!
