I'm guessing it won't be, but they have probably done some tinkering, and there may be noticable differences. I think it's more likely that they will cap power level advantages in the raid to some moderate value to deal with the higher max power. I'd think the cap should be at least 305. Maybe 310. How lucky do you feel?
Confirming we'll need an alt for tonight (Dec 5, 2017, 9-11p, but please be online 15 minutes in advance if possible). The usual: first come first added.
Rotation as of this morning, pre-DLC download: Gauntlet. For those of you who have finished the download, feel free to verify that.
Deep I am having no lag problems that I can see with 4K, but then I am not processing with HDR.
The LG HDR notification pops up the moment I turn on D2. Same with World of Tanks and not problem there. I suppose I can turn that feature off on my TV's HDMI port just to see if that is the problem.
Sadly, yes. Seemed like a pretty incremental change, but resulted in too many little things going wrong at the worst times. At least it was egalitarian: each of us had a turn at being the main cause of a wipe.

We opted for the Raid Lair instead. We managed to figure out the jump puzzle enough to make it to the end but didn't get everyone there. It was fun figuring it out on the fly and a nice change from Leviathan.
Three of us are wanting to do the Raid Lair again, so unless we have any vehement objections, I think that's what we'll be doing tonight. No cancellations so far, but since Wulleymammoth put in an early alt request, I'll have him as first alternate if a slot opens and he's online.
Not exactly an alt request, but an "alt monitoring" request, mostly for anyone who will be online and not otherwise occupied: I have a handyman coming over when I get home from work to do a "quick" house maintenance project. Not expecting any problems (he'll want this finished as quickly as I do), but invoking Murphy's law, there's a slight possibility I may need a last minute alt.
Week two of the Eater of Worlds and the enemy swarms in that next-to-last part are still having us for dinner. But at least we're cruising through the jump puzzle.
Mostly status quo on the Raid Lair. Some progress is being made on our ability to think ahead of the curve. That may well help us finish the first boss section. We got the solid walls down to the last mine. Groan.
We, as a group, are recognizing this level of difficulty is at the cusp of our abilities. We don't have enough reserve to take up the slack when something goes wrong.
Did somebody leave the gates of Hell unlocked? We completed stage one of the boss fight! We were so tired, maybe a bit fed up too, we didn't even cheer. I suppose it was a bit anti-climatic since nothing blew up.
Tried stage 2 once. A new Hell to look forward too!
Keep up the good work DEEP. Hey, at least your group is still going strong. I've not even set foot into the new Lair since it seems there are so few people currently playing.
Thanks, Achy! Adding you to the roster!
Heh, after two hours we got the whole group into the Gauntlet two times. So close.
It just occurred to me. This Raid's power level may be increased substantially by the time we get there Tues night.

Reporting bad input lag with 4K Destiny 2. Not sure what my performance will be but it won't be up to my usual standard. :(
Recommend the usual: reboot the router, hard reset the XBox, test NAT, test multiplayer connection, and ritually kill a rooster.
Will not be able to make it as an alt tonight.

The pool was so nice, we decided to stay 2 hours.
300 power level proved to be a tipping point.
Normal mode Raid bumped to 300?

Sorry I didn't have the energy to participate last night. Sounds like it was a lot of fun.

Maintenance completed. Hope we make progress on the Raid Lair.

Have you guys been on break for the holidays? Miss those progress reports!

What he said.
Well that makes four of us. But Bungie only loves multiples of six.
